    Not really. Constructive criticism is a good thing. Yours is not constructive. It is anti-American.

    Nice try ... because naming FACTS is the point and they have not to be constructive, but true and my named facts are true.

    No in everyone else opinion too ... only in yours and those few others who have to problem to read and handle fact based critics on the USA not ... and this is sad and lousy!

    If, as a foreigner, I call the American allegations against Iran that it uses the bestial Sharia as hypocritical ... because the good friend of the USA - Saudi Arabia - does exactly the same and majority of those in the USA who criticizes (quite justified) Iran ... doesn't do at Saudi Arabia, then unfortunately that is a fact and must be called hypocritical!
    But for you, it's anti-American behavior ...

    "The cost of our failed strategy is now expanding to the point that it not only fails at its intended purpose but has expanded to include strengthening bonds between our adversaries at our expense."

    :applause::applause::applause::cheerleader::cheerleader::cheerleader:

    Thank God I am not the only one that sees this. In 2000 - our "Total Military Spend" - all in .. VA "Homeland security" - which did not exist and so on ... roughly 300 Billion.

    Under Bush - that spend increased to over 900 Billion - and to over 1 Trillion under Obama. Had we maintained 2000 spend levels - increasing with inflation .. we could have put 500 Billion/year over 16 years = 8 Trillion dollars into infrastructure, technology, ramping up our economy to compete in the 3rd millennium.

    Who was this big enemy massing at our gates - this massive threat to the homeland ? No one - and certainly not some desert Jihadists with kalashnikovs

    Russia ? Nope - that s nukes - we can already destroy each other many times over... Conventional buildup is pointless for nuclear war.
    What good is an aircraft carrier going to do us ... sitting on the ocean - watching the nation get vaporized.

    Recognition of this reality - the other nations have been doing just that - forging military for economic gain - as since the advent of nukes - Economic has become by far the strongest piece on the chessboard.

    Am guessing there are plenty of intelligent, educated folks like yourself who can see your point.
    But there appears to be nothing they can do about it...but watch. Even hope seems pointless.
