since when are 90 percent of muslims great? most of them follow sharia law, most of the arab countries don't let woman do anything , and force them to cover their faces

but its not politically correct to call them terrorists, even if its true. their oppressed like other minorities, they come from third world countries, and know not what they do.

If he is an American Muslim, he is likely to be well integrated and he could be almost an atheist and there is no point in insulting him and the Irish in the UK faced similar prejudice in the Thatcher era but only few of them were active members of the IRA. Most Muslims in the Third World may be anti-American ideologically but only a tiny lunatic fringe would support al Qaeda and those raised and educated in the West are less likely to be radicalised by extremists because they are no longer subject to strict Islamic codes.

The only difference is, Allah and God are two different beings. God almighty is holy and omnipotent, Allah the demon is evil and demands bloodshed from his followers.

You make the statement that God does not exist. Since you made the statement, it is up to you to prove that God doesn't exist. I am not saying God exists, therefore it is not up to me to prove that God does exist.

But it IS up to you to prove that God doesn't exist, since you just said it, and are standing on the truth of what you said.

So please, show us the proof that you owe us of the statement which you expect us to assume is true or you wouldn't have written it.

 

Isn't the simpler answer that Islam as evolved in the past 1500 years? Just like Catholics don't go on crusades anymore?

 

It's up to EVERYONE to provide evidence to their beliefs and accept challenges to those beliefs as well.

And if you ask me over the past 2000 years God has slowly but surely been losing ground in the Science V. Religion debate. Thousands of things that were once explained via God are now explained by science. We know we are NOT the center of the universe now. We know that the moon and the sun were created naturally over billions of years. We know that rain cannot be prayed into existance and rather it is part of a rain cycle dictated by the natural laws of physics.

Science hasn't explained everything. And for the rest of everyone's life here there will always be gaps people will try to fill with mysticism. But from what I've seen Science does a lot better job at explaining the universe than the bible does. And at least when science doesn't know the answer they don't immediately make up some way it would happen with God.

Who knows how many brilliant minds were wasted to the intellectual laziness of religion.

 

One thing they've never come up with any proof of, and likely never will, is the universe itself.

Where did the universe come from? Science has never figured it out.

So either you believe NOTHING on the topic, or you believe something based on pure faith.

Those are your choices.

And no, having a belief doesn't have a burden of proof.

Stating things as fact does. That's logic 101.

Many things, including those you would regard as proper science, were hypothesized and believed long before being empirically proven.
