Good news though, with the destruction of the economy by the blistering and unscientific lockdowns businesses are desperate to hire employees that are not staying home on unemployment bonuses and the homeless guy I help found a job at a Denny's.

So, do any of you actually help the homeless or do you just whine about businesses not paying what they cannot afford?

This ice cream parlor wasn’t required to raise any prices. I’d like to see the global supply chain replenished before I get too concerned about higher prices. Supply and demand controls all.

The article no price increases were required.

Well, if they are screwing their rich customers with high prices then eventually the roosters may come home to roost if they had to expand into most of America. Most restaurants run very tight margins.

That is a fair an point. I just checked out. Their prices seem to be pretty in line with DQ, Ritter’s frozen custard, and Baskin Robbins. I don’t know.

Screw trades. Get your MBA and the trade work for you.

But alas, some people need to earn money while they learn trades, no?

Elizabeth Warren posed the question to Jamie Dimon JP Morgan's CEO today at the congressional hearing , why do bank CEO's now earn 9.000 times more than their average bank employee today, when in 1980 it was less than 400 times??? He was stumped for an answer.

The USDA in late April forecast prices for all food in 2021 to rise 2% to 3% from 2020, when prices were up 3.4% from 2019
    https://www.foodbusinessnews.net/articles/18624-food-price-inflation-is-on-the-horizon

I see why Twitter and Facebook started flagging posts that have no foundation in reality.
    Fake news spreads so quickly.

Costs would definitely increase with $15 minimum wage, but would it be offset by the increased spending power of millions of people?

Because of that, would it actually end up making a difference at all or just increasing the size of the numbers involved? $15 an hour is only lucrative in a world where the minimum wage is less. When that is the bottom, it becomes exactly that. The new bottom.

And since raising the minimum wage does not automatically mean wages already higher than that would also increase, would it be worse off than it is now?
