FoxHastings said: ↑ No. It's stupid to think women owe other people kids.. Uh, WHO started this thread ? Is it all you can think about ? LOL There is no "child' involved in abortion. No, it's none of my business and I'm not a control freak who thinks they should rule over women..
Tell that to Texas. And some women are sick and/or incapacitated for 9 months...AGAIN women are NOT clones of each other , they are individuals.. Not every pregnancy is alike....try talking to a doctor and getting some FACTS about pregnancy. SO WHAT? It's still her choice to gestate or not. That has nothing to do with abortion or women's right to choose but you seem to change topics on a whim
My point is it's kind of like being forced to be a firefighter or forced to eat the grape flavor variety of jelly on her toast. She's not being forced to do anything that plenty of other people are not choosing of their own volition. Being forced to ride on a twisty rollercoaster with long lines of people might be another example. Yes, she may be hesitant about making this choice, but it's not horrific or unimaginable. Plenty of other normal women do it. The kid is already in there. She's not being forced to have a kid, just not to abort it. (Yes, there is the labors of pregnancy)
I was just giving a hypothetical example where your philosophy would not hold up. Even if it is fictional and implausible, it still can illustrate how your belief is absurd. (If your belief were really true then why would it only hold up in some situations rather than others?)
the Fiction and Sci-Fi Movie Forum is elsewhere There you can preach about how fictional and implausible your post was...
How many times do I have to tell your camp that this is an argument so bad it is even named as a fallacy? Birth is a mabor event and it could not be any more clear cut and perceptually obvious -- "One.second before exiting the woman's body it is still not outside and seperate from her. It is only when the baby is out and the cord is cut that it becomes a physically independent being.
LOL, what? Are you going through every year ? Is a 0ne year old girl human , is a two year old human...goodgawd...BTW there are men in the world, they are human, too...
The amount of babies available for adoption, where they live, what they look like, where they came from, how long it takes, how much it costs, and all the other deflective nonsense in this thread have nothing to do with any specific woman's choice about whether to have an abortion or not.
More like 9 months and 18 years. The major difference being that the surrogate is willingly pregnant.
Believing in a "God" that creates a soul at conception is magic. Believing that only individuals have rights is reason.
Uh, YOU first brought up "magic" ....I haven't seen any Pro-Choicer claim "magic" happens at birth....it involves science..try it , you might like it !
