I did not contract covid unless the pulmonary virus I contracted in January 2020 was covid. It could just as well have been flu. I don't even know anybody who contracted it. Perhaps it is small benefit of rural living.

Test are readily available from a drug store and can be performed on yourself in your home. It's simple to do. That's how you know for sure. My test showed positive.

I have no need for tests. 2020 was quite a while ago.

Just thought I would mention the future -- we never know what's around the corner. Only death and taxes are for sure.

Welp, just tested positive a couple of days ago myself after my wife contracted Covid at Dreamforce. I didn't really have many symptoms until last night, which was HORRIBLE, feeling much better this morning.

Much appreciated, folks. I'm feeling okay during the day, just struggling a bit at night when lying down makes the congestion worse. But no more vomiting and no more fever, and I never got pneumonia, which is what I was really worried about.

Do you got a lot of phloem?

If so you might try laying on your stomach while somebody else pounds your back, not too hard but enough to get everything moving. Then cough. You can stand up if it helps you cough better.

That works for me, I used to get bronchitis often. Careful where you put that phloem.

My wife and I currently have covid. Caught it near the end of a 10 cruise. I was fully vaccinated so the symptom are fairly minor. Thought it was a cold until we tested. We have a cough, scratchy throat, and a bit of a headache. The only odd symptom is for the last few days I have had night sweats but according to google that could just be how our body heals. Have been debating whether to go see a doctor since we are now back home and doesn't seem to be serious. I am already out cleaning up the yard for fall.

We have already witnessed mass formation and covidian psychosis during the Great De-Population Scam of 2020, where large swaths of the world seemingly lost touch with reality and that was just a foretaste of what is about to come.

The total collapse of reality may be at hand...

Yikes... sorry you had to go through that but glad you recovered.

I'm 41 I got the delta and also the omicron. I feel bad for one day and couldn't taste anything for a couple of days afterwards. I didn't get a vaccine.

We're not talking about a conspiracy theory here the vaccines didn't work. The example is Gibraltar after the population was 100% vaccinated they were having spikes in the illnesses not just spikes in the illnesses spikes in hospitalizations.

I'm sorry facts are inconvenient to your belief system. But just because you want to believe the lies the government told you doesn't mean anybody who questions them is a conspiracy theorist.

My wife and I have got the Moderna vaccines and boosters. In Ontario where I live the free clinic is 5 minutes by car and the last 3 boosters no line ups. No side effects at all. I am 67, Diabetes 2 and Prostate Cancer dormant. My niece and daughter both late 30's when they got it both got seriously ill. My daughter had a stroke from a blood clot that travelled to a minor hole in her heart they detected thanks to the stroke and treated later. She was touch and go. My niece got meningitis from Covid and was rushed in. In both cases, superior medical treatment.

I have friends who are nurses, emergency physicians, paramedics, police, teachers, taxi drivers, bus drivers, all exposed to it not to mention social workers. They all worked high risk and put their lives on the line.

The least I can do for those who are not able to take the vaccine and who could die from Covid and all those front line workers, is to take the damn boosters. It takes little time to get the needle. To date I have not turned into an alien, radioactive or grown any extra parts. ( I will not discuss why I have 2 pp's) (I was joking stop it only the moderators have 2 pp's which is why they can easily penalize jokers like me...)

... or you both have colds. I have one too atm (spent a bunch of hours up close and personal with my friend's family who had an illness going around).

    Sounds about right.

... or maybe you just caught a mild cold so the symptoms are fairly minor.

Your first instinct is probably correct. The "covid" tests are bogus. I'm sure if I tested, I'd be told that I "have covid" too... but since my symptoms are extremely mild (and I know that the tests are bogus to begin with), I see no reason to bother with testing.

I've had a sore/scratchy throat (the worst of it, which seems gone now), some upper respiratory mucus, and a very slight cough here and there. I've had symptoms for almost a week and seem to be "on the mend" now.

Grammatical issues aside, night sweats are rather interesting. Sometimes I've had them and other times I haven't. This time I haven't.

Sounds like a mild cold to me, much like I've been experiencing atm. However, I am not an "expert", nor am I a doctor, blah blah blah.......

We are lucky to have so many brilliant incisive minds to ponder and mull over Covid, its existence, the correct diagnosis, treatment, disease course, etc, etc.

IMO, the recent Covid is the expected weakening of the virus. BTW, deaths in China are less than1%.
After all, how long does that Chinese crap we buy from Amazon last?

No, but it does serve as a study of human psychology and just how paranoid some people can be.

Or, it could serve as a study of human psychology and just how trusting some people can be.

FYI. No drug has ever been passed through drug trials this quickly. No thorough testing. You are the test. Overall, it appears to be a good test with some casualties. Fortunately, every drug provider cannot be sued for their test subjects injuries or deaths. Albeit, less than if they got Covid and died. But, appears a great deal of Covid deaths were due to using those breathing tubes.
