one more myth , climate has changed 70 times or so, but once humans appeared mega fauna vanished, everywhere, Australia represents maybe the worst example but its not an unique example , it has happened in all continents

I'm not trying to prove you wrong. I suggest there is something seriously wrong with the arbitirary number of 40,000 given to Aboriginal habitation in Australia - an isolated contient, which only produced an Aboriginal population of between 300k - 700k within a 40,000 year time-frame?

Given the same 40,000 year time-frame, the majority of other cultures and civilisations around the world increased their populations by ten's of millions, and they didn't have the added advantage of Australian Aborigines; that being on an isolated contient in which to grow their populations without the constant threat of wars and invasions.

Did the Aboriginal culture practice some form of birth control that has not been mentioned?

Since colonisation, numerous species have went extinct, and I agree that is disgusting and frighting. Especially when we will never know how these extinct animals interacted with other species and the environment.

no it's not... you equate a cat to a human and suggest eye for an eye

Should I get to skin you after I slit your throat like the pig had happen because you ate bacon yesterday? Or does your outrage over animnal rights depend on how cute the animal is

    You can try.
I have lived in plenty of rural areas. I know plenty about farming. So that is a dead argument. We are not talking about taking game for food or taking a pig to slaughter.
Your attempt at moral equivalency fails yet again.

    killing for a purpose....

you support it when it brings you yummy bacon
support it now when it protects endangered species from going extinct

they aren't randomly picking cats to hunt because it's fun. There is a very valid purpose in culling them. And since there is absolutely ZERO chance of making cats go extinct..... the balance of the ecology there outweighs your objections to cats being killed.

I suppose any justification is good enough.

for me.... probably...... I hate cats..... but even if this was towards wild dogs... if it's justified in order to protect an endangered species... then cull away.

    I'm a CAT hater... there's a difference.

But you choosing to allow cats to live and not get culled.... you are dooming whatever endangered species that the invasive species cat is killing off.

Why do you hate endangered species?

what's what? what animals are being killed off to extinction by the invasive species that are cats? it's not clear.... the OP doesn't go into detail which ones in particular... it just says cats are killing off endangered species.

I do love animals, and I want to protect them. For that reason, I'm all in favor of exterminating feral cats.

Those are not feral cats. They look very much like peoples pets. What is the story behind the picture?
