Willy, you are a fountain of excuses based on blinders wearing supposition and conjecture. It wasn't scientific analysis, it was Fauci's medical guess work passing as valid conclusions. Then when proven WRONG, Fauci squawks the party line as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

Let me demonstrate how critical thinking will divorce you of this hero worship of Fauci. Here's what he said in March (you can verify this with a simple google search), "“There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences — people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”

I highlighted/underscored the important part to demonstrate that although the CDC switched it's stance based on new evidence..Fauci pre-emptively debunked mask wearing mantra he nows spews, regardless of new information or the progress of the disease! This is just one example. I listed through out this thread Fauci's duplicity and outright fraud regarding the accuracy of testing. You just deny it with the most amazing demonstration of convoluted logic I've seen in years. You seemed convinced that your personal opinion passes for facts and logic. Clearly, as the chronology of the posts shows, that is not the case.

Bottom line: whether with or against what Trump had stated, Fauci is part of the machine that has bungled handling this epidemic to a large degree. Your denial non-withstanding.

But, this time you underline that masks might not be a perfect solution.

But, NOBODY has EVER claimed that masks, social separation, hand washing, or any of the other methods of adjusting behavior to reduce COVID are anywhere CLOSE to perfect. These are all designed to reduce transmission. In fact, masks are called for primarily to cause the wearer to not infect others.

You still seem to be WAY off in the weeds on this entire subject. You have a purely political agenda. And, you just can't figure out any way of supporting that agenda.

And, there are VERY good reasons for your failure.

 

1. Your revisionist BS has been proven wrong over and again. You're just insipidly stubborn

2. No, I pointed out the FACT that Fauci stated in no-uncertain-terms that masks aren't all that useful in a full blown epidemic...then later on he does an about face to tout the party line as to how necessary and preventative masks are. You can't explain that away no matter how much BS you put out.

3. I never stipulated perfection....that's YOUR BS way to try and soft soap Fauci's flip flop. I point to the contradiction of the current carrying on about masks as if they are extremely effective. First Fauci says no, now he says yes. Flip, flop.
