They should hold a people’s vote to determine if they should have a new vote on the exit....then they can hold a people’s vote on rather this latest vote is correct or if perhaps a new new vote is needed...then they can hold a vote to determine if the latest vote was enough to override the original exit vote or should a new vote based on the results of the latest vote mean that the original exit vote is now null and void and that a new vote is needed to determine the real will of the people because clearly a few votes on the matter is not enough to determine the will of the people....

Maybe they can just hold monthly votes till one side gives in and declares the other side the victor...

Honoring the original exit wishes of the voters instead of invalidating those wishes with a new vote perhaps?

Under same conditions, that is. Apples and oranges!

Do you have problem with logic?
I repeat: the first referendum was "honored" and UK entered the EU. 40 years later there was a second referendum and the result is "not honored", STILL. You cannot make a third referendum before the second one is "honored" and UK leaves the EU.
If the UK in 5 or 10 years decides "hey, we were morons, we want in the EU again", then there should be a third referendum for EU membership. But first UK leaves the EU as people have spoken.
Of course, referendum is not legally binding but referendums are as democratic as it gets. It was "honored" the first time in 1976, wasn't it? Why not now?

Dems didn't like Donald Trump won. Should there have been another election?

How often should that be sought? The “will” of the people can change daily based on events. And if voters have their votes invalidated by repeated elections on the same issue how long will voters respect or honor those elections?

Why stop at two? Once you go past a single vote opposing sides are free to deman vote after vote. Best 2 of 3? Best 3 of 5?

They do this in the US year after year with the pot laws. Doesn't pass this year? Run it through again next year! When is a decision f-ing binding?

Hard Brexit, and until then, lots and lots of fear-mongering and sour grapes.

No you have a problem with logic and my posts show that.
We were already in the EU in 1975 when the first referendum was held, two years after we had entered. There was no referendum until we had joined!
So nothing was honoured, we just stayed in. As I have shown, those who say it is undemocratic to have a third referendum really mean "we got our way and are not prepared for anymore democracy."

In many business operations, you come up with a proposal, get permission to investigate and then seek final approval. I think that in a Parliamentary Democracy then that final approval should be with Parliament, others believe in a third referendum. You appear to think democracy stopped in 2016!

That's cool but its not how things work. You can't have elections at your whim. You'll have to wait another two years. ;)

How about if I had a bet on the Kentucky Derby and my horse was beaten. Could I demand that they re run the race because I didn't agree with the result?

Of course you can. You simply change the law or constitution as needed. The will of the people will be heard.

But no such process is required for a referendum in the UK. Just a simple vote

trump didn't win... Putin used the trump campaign to steal the American election for the fat racist infesting the White House.

Right wingers cheat every election...gerrymandering, stealing absentee ballots, suppressing voter rights for minorities, etc, etc...

They can't win fairly because most of the electorate hates them and what they stand for. That's why Hillary won the popular vote.

Now we're about to find out a lot more about how the trump campaign conspired with the Russians to steal the last election...and its going to result in a lot more prison sentences. I seriously hope that trump and all of his disgusting family get locked in prison for life.

Any limit to the number of these elections in your opinion?

How is it determined if the people want a new vote?

I think Trump is a blowhard and did not vote for him. But he won.

Clinton lost because of her reputation and actions not because of the Russians.

She lost to Trump, that is how much the American people dislike her..

Guess what. The rest of the world is not part of the EU and still have great trading with it, travel to it and certainly phone friends and co workers on dayly bases.
