    I notice on a regular basis the totalitarian/authoritarian bent of those who advocate for gun control. To heck with the Constitution, to heck with "innocent until proven guilty". Let's just subject them to extreme scrutiny by the Gun Gestapo.....

    Your version doesn't match history. Interestingly enough, the very first "gun control" laws were meant to keep newly freed slaves from being able to arm themselves against attacks by racists such as the KKK...

    London, long the bastion of gun-phobes, can no longer boast it is the "World's Safest Large City." As long as becomes more and more like Syria, Libya and India---it will become more violent, more like a 3rd World ****hole.

    early 20th century NY-hatred of southern European "Papist" immigrants (Italians) by the Wasp and Irish establishment in NYC and some other Eastern Port cities


    Mid 60s-fear of black street criminals, in general

    how are you going to prove your silly claims about what other people care about. I can easily say you care more about harassing honest gun owners than stopping crime and that has far more support than the claim we only care about guns
