Not just that, but it can be hard to get them to leave, too. We saw this firsthand in Florida when we brought in so many Puerto Rican hurricane evacuees after Hurricane Maria.

Why would you want a vulnerable population grouped together in one area where medical professionals will be able to help them with access to doctors vs letting them roam about spreading diseases? Think people. It makes sense.

Just when I started wondering how much it would cost the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia to pay for all this:

Only took 3 or 4 decades for the left to destroy this state.

Because a vulnerable population grouped together in one area is basically a powder keg just waiting for a spark.

It's basically guaranteed to cause an outbreak of illness in a population that will panic and run wild once they're all good and infected. A population that is notoriously hard to control, and doesn't generally grasp the concept of "social isolation".

There are already problems with the homeless spreading TB, Hepatitis, etc.

This would likely spread much quicker and endanger lives.

San Francisco is now closing down the city-but the homeless will remain.

Says every leftist before they go ahead with the dumb "something" that inevitably makes the problem 10 times worse.

And you seriously think the homeless would self-quarantine and isolate themselves in these rooms? You don't think those hotels wouldn't quickly become big party houses?

These are people who share heroin needles, you think a little flu is going scare them into "social distancing?"

That's NOT even a partial solution.

The disease is here in force.

Please explain what is being done that is making this worse.

You might throw in an excuse for right wing press such as Hannity, other Fox programming, Rushbo and others to claim this is a nonissue perpetrated as a partisan assault on Trump. I'd really like to hear THAT excuse.

I'd suggest you learn something about how these places are run.

And, if you don't like the solution after having done that, maybe you should propose something better.

Well, Fox programming has been broadcasting that this whole thing is nonsense - most likely a lef wing plot on the presient.

I strongly doubt those people have been reached with the truth - even if Fox, Rushbo and the rest are stopped.

I wonder why this is only a huge massive problem in places like San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle. It seems like it's only far left dumps refuse to let property developers build housing that have housing shortages and therefore extreme costs for housing.

    has it really give examples?

This sounds like a case of politically biased media that doesn't agree with me is wrong because it doesn't agree with me and politically biased media that does is right because it agrees with me.

just before you start carrying on about everyone who challenges your statements I've gotten 90% of my information from the CDC directly. and it doesn't seem to be as big of a scare as everyone is trying to make it out to be.
How evangelical of you. the information does not have to reach people only have to do is type in cdc.gov/coronavirus-2019 and they will get the most reliable information there is.

People who don't get this information do not want it they want people like Don lemon to freak them out because it's entertainment.

The news media on this subject is worthless because I can go directly to the source of information. The only reason they exist is to pervert the truth.

I don't care if it's called fox or CNN or MSNBC. They are all the same even if you agree with it.

Perhaps it's in hope they die off. That's how socialists always deal with..."surplus population."

Sometimes letting them starve after the famine they caused

The super rich California liberals who run the state didn't care much for the homeless until now. They're not trying to be good to them.

They're afraid of the virus, they think the homeless will spread it, and they want to protect themselves.

I can read them like a book.

The "property seizure" on the border was more like a utility easement. A sewer line is being installed along my back fence line and my fencing has been temporarily removed. When they finish, I will have a new fence. Think of the border fence as property improvements. Less criminal traffic on their property.
