Discrimination on the basis of what?

Interesting. You seemed further to the left than that.

The baker would also refuse Brad Pitt.

Maybe he's a huge Brad Pitt fan and would forgive him anything.

I don’t think you can say for certain and it would depend on exactly what he (or any other customer) asked for. I also wonder whether the specific legislation there would mean refusing a product because it is for a same-sex wedding or transgender celebration etc. would still be illegal, regardless of who the person physically placing the order is. So a homosexual couple ordering a cake for their wedding might be the same as heterosexual parents ordering a cake for their child’s same-sex wedding in that legal context.

Again, we don’t know the all the details or the legal technicalities, which is why such cases are addressed by the courts, lawyers and judges who do.

You didn't say what the discrimination would be based on.

Public Accommodation laws mean that businesses cannot refuse to accomodate customers on a certain basis. They do not apply to end users who are not interacting with the business.

The cake shop owner is a FAKE CHRISTIAN!!!Christianity teaches do unto others as you would have them do unto you.Jesus said,"what so ever you do to these the least of my brethren you also do unto me"He is acting as judge juror and executioner.

That may well be the theory but as I say, the actual outcome depends on exactly what happened (or what the courts hear happened), the specific wording of all the relevant legislation (even the parts that contradict the other parts) and how the courts actually interpret all that.

Do you ever tire of trying to derail threads? Is this really that unimportant to you that the lefty warriors will continue to bring useless law suits in their efforts to destroy average businesses.. right? I mean, we shouldn't look too deeply at these drama merchants. Cause if we actually did, we'd see the pattern that liberals always go to court to force folks into submitting to their stupid shyte...

Maybe you can find the quote from Jesus where he demanded that the rest of the people be happy about transition parties...

I"d charge the person three times my normal price and if the person is willing to pay for it, I'd make the cake. Some people make lousy business owners.

Some people consider principles more important than money.

Get real. The purpose to be in business is to make money. If they were to "consider principles" then they should charge a cake at cost instead of inflating it to outrageous prices.

Just because you have no principles doesn't mean others don't as well.

Business owners are in business to make money. Only a fool would risk losing these customers, their friends, family members and the people who support them.

Lefties do it every day. Is the CEO of Dick's a fool in your eyes for pissing off the 2nd amendment crowd? Is the CEO of FB or Twitter a fool for banning certain conservatives from their platform? All lose money when they do so, seems there must be something more important than making as much money as possible.....hmmmmm

Sure. But note that all those are large businesses with large amount of cash to withstand the backlash. Not so a small baker.

Not if you want a licence to do so. You can deny any one person the right to provide a service. You can not deny the right to provide a service to any group of people just because they belong to a certain race, gender, religion etc.

    Strange and idiotic!
So if I have a barber shop, I am not able to chose by my own whom I accept as customer? When Mr. Stinky comes in an pollutes my shop I can't kick him out but must cut his hair ... otherwise he can me accuse?

    Rediculous....

    Wouldn't that still be discrimination?
