    Sooner or later most will contract the virus, and nature will take it's weak as it has always done.. Why add destruction of nations in a feeble attempt to fight evolution?

    The reports are often loaded with past unreported. In the case of Florida that reports weekly that inflates reports.

    We don't like to talk of that good Sir. It also falls under the guidelines of the where and who created this virus and many reason our friends on the left refuse to condemn them either..

    ChiCowboy,

    I have to disagree. The present massive invasion of illegal immigrants is Biden's and the Democrat's fault, and those masses and their relatives in the US will be beholding to them. I maintain it will result in many Democrat voters down the road.

    I said nothing about contagion precautionary measures. I just indicated that much of the increased numbers in Florida likely was a result of the large numbers of illegal immigrants going there, and, of course, there is the population density.

    I stand by the accuracy of my post.

    Vp Harris when asked said she wouldn't have anything to do with any vaccine Trump had anything to do with. Others were even more forceful. Farrakhan for instance referred to the vaccine as a drop of poison.

    What polls show is that vaccine hesitancy among black and brown communities is well beyond that of conservatives.

    And that's where the disease mainly is in Florida. Miami/Dade and Broward.

    For your info, most States have stopped publishing updates on weekends, thus, their Monday's updates are INFLATED by two unreported days.

    My only purpose of posting their weekly reports is to show an UPWARD TREND............Thus, I don't care if their numbers are inflated, and/or deflated such as ''Number of deaths''.

    By the way, the following numbers are actually DeSantis numbers, because I don't think he would allow his DoH to publish INFLATED Case/Death numbers.

    ONCE AGAIN.......

    Florida's DoH Covid Data, past 6 weeks, DATA EXCLUDES NON-RESIDENTS

    New Cases For the past 5 weeks

    Jun 11 - Jun 17; Total Cases 10,463
    Jun 18 - Jun 24; 18.804
    Jun 25 - Jul 1st; 16,031
    Jul 2nd - Jul 9th; 23,697
    Jul 10th - Jul 16th; 45,604
    Jul 17th - Jul 23rd; 73,119
    Jul 23rd - Jul 29th; 110,447..................NOTE: Both residents and Non-residents;

    New Cases Positivity Rate for the past 4 weeks............EXCLUDES NON-RESIDENTS

    Jun 11 - Jun17; 3.3%......Average over 7 days
    Jun 18 - Jun 24; 3.8%
    Jun 25 - Jul 1st; 5.2%
    Jul 2nd - Jul 9th; 7.8%
    Jul 10th - Jul 16th; 11.5%

    Jul 23rd - Jul 29th; 18.1%

    Number of Covid19 Deaths..................EXCLUDES NON-RESIDENTS

    Jul 10th - jul 17th; 59

    Again, we have a higher community transmission rate than ALL of these countries these illegals come from. That's a fact. In this regard, it makes more sense for them to be afraid of us, than us being afraid of them. Still, I abhor illegal immigration. But to pretend that illegal immigration is what is driving the Covid-19 pandemic in the United States, is a partisan talking point with no base in reality.

    Are some of the illegal aliens Covid positive? Certainly. Likely in SMALLER percentage than our own population so they are not DRIVING anything.

    This pandemic started here while Trump was in office, supposedly with a tougher policy against illegal immigration. So what is it? Did THEY seed the pandemic here, in a time when we had lots of cases here and they had minimum number of cases??? Under Trump's watch? Is this what you are saying???

    The surges we had here can be traced back to stupid insufficient travel restrictions (not a ban) under Trump, stupid holiday gatherings, stupid motorcycle rallies, stupid vaccine hesitancy, stupid campaigns against mask, stupid superspreader political rallies, stupid BLM rallies, etc.

    Illegal aliens? Sure, a tiny tiny percentage of our outbreak may have had as contributors a tiny number of illegal aliens. That's a drop of water in the ocean compared to the United States outbreak, which was the #1 outbreak in the world for a long, long time.

    Again, I'm STRONGLY against illegal immigration and I've proved this here with threads I started myself against them. I abhor the failures of the Biden administration in this regard. But not, that's not what is causing the Covid-19 surges here.

    For your info, DeSantis once blamed his migrant workers for a huge surge of Covid19.

    Also, among migrant workers and the undocumented, when it comes to promoting/providing/faciIating Covid Tests, , Health Care, Covid Money, and Vaccines, FLORIDA is completely the opposite of CALIFORNIA.

    In fact, if Governor Newsom had neglected his migrant workers and undocumented, California's covid rates would be higher than New York.

    So people are capable of quarantinining on their own without having to shutdown the business? Maybe mandatory lockdowns are not necessary and only hurt small business.

    I see that you are not doing what I asked: provide exact and verified quotes with links. Because that's not what I recall her saying and you are likely distorting it, putting it out of context, not quoting the full quote, or just quoting hearsay (look at my signature). She said IF THE FDA APPROVED THE VACCINE WITHOUT POLITICAL PRESSURE SHE'D BE HAPPY TO TAKE IT, and she did take it, publicly. Unfortunately for you, you choose to leave out that part. That's what unfair selective quoting gives you.

    Again, man up. Link to exact and complete quote, please.

    And to pretend that conservatives are NOT the ones who are predominantly declining the vaccine is like ostrich behavior. Take your head out of the sand. Just look at a map of percentage of vaccination in red states versus blue states.

    Look at this one, for example:

    https://fortune.com/2021/07/02/amer...y-4-covid-vaccine-goal-see-which-states-will/

    California = 74.8%
    New York = 72.4%
    Mississipi = 46.3%
    Lousiana = 49%

    Come again?

    Polls show vaccine acceptance VERY significantly higher among Democrats as compared to Republicans.

    See, look for FACTS for a change:

    https://www.axios.com/republicans-c...ncy-023bf32f-3d68-4206-b906-4f701b87c39f.html

    White Republicans vaccine hesitancy = 56%
    Black = 31%
    Latinos = 30%
    White Democrats = 7%

    Come again? You were saying???

    Yes, people do refrain from shopping around and dining out when they are afraid of a lethal airborne disease being out of control in their communities. Duh.

    That's a conspiracy theory. Hispanics support Democrats because most Hispanics are working people, and Democrats support their concerns, not because of which party was in power when their parents immigrated. If this theory had anything to stand on, we'd expect most immigrants to vote Republican, as more have immigrated under Republican administrations than Democratic administrations over the last 40 years. Indeed, Democrats have held the White House for 16+ years while Republicans held it for 24. Reagan signed an amnesty. The CT is not valid.

    What is factual is Trump's needless delay of the transition. What is also factual is the time it takes to implement changes, which is why presidents have always allowed for a smooth transition, until Trump. Those facts can't be denied.

    No illegal immigrants are going to Florida, or anywhere else in the US. Those caught illegally are being deported. Asylum seekers are being transported. Nothing illegal about them. Let's stick to factual representations, please.

    There is no data to suggest Florida's outbreak has anything to do with immigrants. Indeed, everything posted in this thread suggests otherwise.

    (The quote function helps quite a bit.)

    No, desantis has guaranteed a freedom of choice for the individual. Not allowing corporations to infringe on individuals choices.

    Isn't it illegal in FL for anyone to require masks?

    Where's the freedom for employers and employee safety?

    It should be their choice in a free world.

    Employees can have the choice of safety by taking the vaccine or wearing a mask. I believe in individual freedoms not a collective authoritarian decree on individual choices and health concerns
