I think it's a good idea for the pharma companies to step up production but I don't think it's the Liberals who're going to need it. The Republicans have pretty much flushed any hopes for the election down the toilet this past week or two with their very open war on women's rights. Talk about "waking a sleeping giant"!

im merely comparing reactions by liberals in this case. you see in the "father shooting laptop" thread liberals and anti gun nuts came out screeching and hollering about how the father was a psychopath amongst other lil nasty tidbits.

but you see in this thread not a single liberal came even close to condemning this fathers actions until i called them out, and of course they cant just stick to the thread, they must bring along their baggage and bring up old news everyone has already condemned like that judge.

liberals seem to pick and choose who they condemn, if its a liberal criminal they lay off, but if the criminal seems to be a republican then liberals come out swinging from the get go.

i agree child abuse is rampant throughout all walks of life, my deal is obviously how a certain group handles it when its one of their own.

MMMmmm... So a guy watching the State of the Union Speech hit his son. So how do you draw a straight line from that to EVERY PERSON WHO EVER VOTED FOR OBAMA. I've watched more Republican debates than I have President Obama State of the Union Speeches. If I happened to get irritated with a kid while watching one of those debates and struck them would that transform me instantly into a **********?

That's so true. I used to be suspicious of Greeks bearing gifts but as they can no longer afford them I feel the need to defend Obama for my own sake. The thought of anyone worse, such as the current miscrop of Republican candidates setting foot in the White House is drawing me closer to the day I may have to actually pay to consult my Psychiatrist.

First of all, the dad should be arrested for stupidity, thinking an 11 yr old would be interested in listening to politics. Not only is dad a mean SOB, but certainly not very bright..... his kid is just a kid and instead of sending hm off to do his own thing, he takes a mug and smashes him in his face b/c he's not paying attention to Obama's speech........

If he hits his son like that just b/c the boy wasn't listening to BO, you can imagine what other trivial reasons he has for hurting him. For some parents like him, the day comes when it's 'pay back time' from his kid.......

When the boy kept acting out, the father lost his temper and grabbed a coffee mug his son was holding and hit him in the face with it, causing a bruise to the bridge of his nose, it is alleged.


It sounds to me like he hit him both for not watching the video and for acting out while it was on but of course that doesn't fit the RW spin.

He still deserves to be in jail for what he did to the boy but I don't see where Obama gets any of the blame.

I think we all realize smashing anything into anyone's face is unacceptable. Reading this story did add anything to my moral code. What bewilders a lot of us is that someone would use it as a political tool and find so much glee and happiness in it. Very odd.

I personally hate how some people feel the need to comb the internet looking for stories about low lifes and repost them all over the internet.
