Facts vs Myths about Homosexuality

So many people seem to hold on to distortions, myths and outright lies about homosexuality, and use these to keep homosexuals as second class citizens.

When facts are presented in the discussions, they are completely dismissed.

How can you have a discussion if authorities presented and facts backed up with citations are just dismissed out of hand???

Does this mean that no discussion can really occur here???

I changed to this forum thinking it would be more adult and thoughtful than the last I was on.

Was I wrong???

Absolutely. The only thing she's not entitled to is demanding how people react to her free speech. For example, this thread was started in the Political Opinions & Beliefs... even though we have a section for gay & lesbian issues.

I wrote you a long response on your other thread and by the time I finished it, they had closed the thread.

Basically what I said was, if you want to be gay, be gay. It's your right. But don't try to convince people that it's "normal" behavior, because it ISN'T. Evolution could have made procreation need only one gender but it didn't.

If you removed the sexual part from homosexuality, you would have a brother loving his brother or a sister loving her sister.

Go try to give your non-gay sister an orgasm. See if she lets you between her legs.

Homosexuality is about sex. Woman can love woman without sex. That is not homsexuality. Only when sex enters....

Evolution did not make sex normal between two of the same gender. I don't have the time to write everything I did before. If you can't figure out from here, too bad.

 

I don't have a prob with gays or lesbians. It's just they're so obsessed with their own sexuality... it gets really tiring. We all have sex lives but most of us don't identify our entire being with what goes on in the bedroom. Just boring after awhile.

 

It is liberals who have made being gay a political issue because any idiot knows that homosexuality is counter to Evolution and good sense.

But since liberals (the Left) tend to want to excuse wrong-headed behavior so that their own wrong-headed behavior will be excused, we now have a society full of the most moronic behavior going on, and it's all in the name of "rights" and "freedom", but should actually be recognized to be in the name of "a- or im-morality".

How anyone could be so stupid as to not recognize that killing a fetus or boinking someone of your own gender in the fanny is wrong-headed, is almost beyond me.

That's right. And the REASON they're so obsessed with their own sexuality is that they recognize how absurd homosexuality is.

Homies aren't bad people, they won't go to hell (they're already IN the only hell there is), they shouldn't be arrested or shunned. I don't hate them, most people DON'T hate them. I don't fear them (ha ha what a concept), most people don't fear them. I don't think I care if they have unions (tho marriage is for men and women), and I suppose it's fine that they have the same rights as other "couples".

But to try to convince society that "gay is ok" is one of the most naive and backwards endeavors in the world.

Do I think homosexuality is abnormal, yes it is. I believe marriage should be left up to the people and not even have government involved in it. So what you just said above is a complete and utter failure of the truth.

It's an obsession with their own sexuality... and they can't understand why we're not all so obsessed with their sexuality. Sometimes they act like they invented sex.
