it does no. A semi auto can not fire as fast as it's full auto counter part. As in, a semi auto AR vs a full auto M4. it quite literally does just that. The sear controls it. You can have whatever weight recoil buffer or whatever strength spring, but that gun still won't fire full auto, until a full auto sear is put into it.
Which does not, by any measure, dictate how many rounds of ammunition are discharged in a one minute span of time. Prove otherwise if you believe otherwise.
I did prove otherwise. A semi auto sear only allows it to fire in semi auto mode. The full auto sear allows it to fire in full auto.
The mode in which the firearm operates does not determine how many rounds of ammunition can be discharged in the span of one second, or one minute. Again, demonstrate otherwise. Demonstrate that it is physically impossible for a semi-automatic rifle to discharge at a rate faster than sixty rounds per minute.
