Yes, the problem is Hamas. They have to go before a lasting peace can be established. As far as the Israelis go, through elections, the Israelis have to elect a government that is open to a two-state settlement. That's what I meant. I don't believe the present government really wants a two-state solution. But I'm thinking that all of this violence and war may bring about a swing in Israeli popular opinion. And if that happens, an Israeli government could be elected that is willing to negotiate a two-state peace agreement. But right now that cannot happen with Hamas in power in Gaza and with an Israeli government that doesn't want it. These are the changes that would have to happen first.

The Palestinians have been offered their own state on more than one occasion by Israel. They always reject it. They want Israel. Arafat got a Nobel prize for rejecting it.

Oh... I suppose you meant Jacques Chirac, the French President? I hadn't read that he was a recognized prophet, theologian, or Bible scholar. If you were referring to someone else, at least have the courtesy to adequately identify that person... it's just common etiquette in debate forums such as this one is....

AH, I 'get' it now... for you it's some kind of 'race' thing, right...? In your opinion, it's "white Judeo-Christians" who are "crypto pagans", and who do not "truly observe the Bible"...? Your pronouncement would surprise the Apostle Paul who understood that the Gospel was to be preached to all Gentiles -- regardless of color. But the "white" ones are, in your estimation, "crypto pagans"...?!

As I commented before, Esau, "You have ceased to make any logical sense at all"... and now to that I would add that you have ceased to make theological sense as well. :spin:

Christianity is an afro-asian religion. Thus any white ppl practicing it are crypto pagans. They celebrate Christmas, with a pagan tree pretending Jesus was born on 25 when no birthdays are ever celebrated in scripture. This is pagan idolatry and you know this.

That is the default position you must start from in order to get where you intend. Unless you accept that the biblical Jews are an afro-asian ppl then naturally, crypto pagans will be called out.

But history has examples of war changing people's minds. I cannot predict the future. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in the aftermath of this war. My hope is that it is the watershed moment that brings about something positive.

We all hope that. Maybe the Palestinians can rid themselves of Hamas, do a better job at democracy, and seek peace rather then the death of Israel.

Or conversely the Israelis can go back to Poland and let palestinians move back home.

Christianity, my dear Esau, is, generally speaking, a world-wide religion that is offered by God to all people, of all colors, of all nationalities, with all cultural backgrounds -- provided, of course, that they accept Christianity's tenets.

I know of no other description that directly defines the identity of what Christianity actually is. And, as far as where it originated, that is believed to be in or near the town of Bethlehem, located in what is called the "Levant", in what is called the Middle East (Western Asia)... not in Africa.

Afterthought: I am unfamiliar with any person with creditable intelligence ever referring to George Bush as being a "prophet". Too bad for us that Bush's 'prophetic' abilities didn't foresee the abysmal failure that his Iraq War would bring on nearly everyone in the entire Middle East!

    [IMG]. Definitely and TOTALLY ****ed-up!

Christianity was conceived in Africa (Israel) and is derived from African (AEgyptian) spiritual systems.

Until you acknowledge this fact then the crypto pagans aka judeo Christian shall be called out for what they are, pagans that celebrate Christmas day as jesus birthday, even though birthdays were never celebrated in scripture.

Well, we're getting nowhere... so, let me wish you a happy day and let it go at that. Anything further discussion about this will simply end in futility....

Well, I hope to see you in the afterlife, Esau... we can compare notes (even though I'm White).

And, BTW, I agree that everybody has made a nauseatingly pathetic carnival out of the birth of the Christ of God! The whole "Santa Claus" thing started getting completely out of control decades ago, mostly so that merchants have a convenient way to put everybody on a big 'guilt-trip' about 'giving', and therefore made to spend more and more money on "Christmas gifts" (or else be thought of as 'Scrooge').

What what about the 800,000 Arab Jews in Israel and their descendants (4 million), should they go back to North Africa and other Arab countries?
