I got into a terrible brawl with a soldier in Germany in 1963. I can't come close to telling you his name. I recall his blonde hair and his face at his then age. I was told by the First Sgt to get him and make sure he was on Mess duty. When I found him and told him, it made him angry. I later got a notice to come up some flights in the building and somebody wanted to talk to me. i got in the room and nobody is in it. He comes in and shoves me then hits me. I grab him severely around his head and wham almost broke his face. Wish i could recall his name. She never knew Kavanaugh and her words show that.
I don't see why anyone intentionally trying to deceive would give the name of a store if they were not certain it was actually there at the time frame in question. But I could understand that inadvertently providing a different name if the store changed ownership being a possibility. There was a dairy farm store in my old neighborhood that was called Milk Jug and when it changed ownership years later the name was also changed but we still called it by the old name.

Some stores have sales, coupon days or brands/items that other stores do not. Why are people asking such stupid questions? OMG! She also stated she was with her mother but they went in separately.
Agreed; she even described some of the physical characteristics of the store - a Safeway then, previously, and now - correctly.
Safeway originated in my local area. I had a pal that his father became very rich with his contracts to build and install the shelving in their stores. Fred came up from just ordinary to wealthy due to Safeway. My problem with her story is where she lived, and why would students at the Prep school chase girls at a school that was so far away? i saw her during testimony. She naturally does not look as nice today as a child, but as a child she was not much to look at. I suspect Brett had access to some hot women in his day.
Intermural prep school mixers are/were pretty common, though Holton Arms girls generally prefer/red St. Albans boys.

I do not wish to be unkind to her as a school girl. But she was not hot. She was regular in features and quite ordinary. Then her story is the 7 miles between schools with 4 more miles North west to the store she alleges the boy was at. If he was a student, he would be 11 miles from his school. Funny he does not know about it.
