However her activist lawyers and the Democrats involved know full well her stories are false, and they should face whatever consequences there might be. Agreed. It's just low all the way around and that's what the resistance has been. They point out Trump's not a great dude, so they venture to be worse than him as if that's a selling point.
What about possible sexual insults? Or sexual innuendos? And even flirting? They seem to feel strongly on those issues to the point where, to these closed minded zealots, all have become indistinguishable from each other.

Did the OP check for other Safeways that might have existed in 1982. Googling current stores is literally meaningless, you need to back to the actual year and determine if any other stores existed back then.
The store existed under that name and in that location exactly as she described it; it's been there since the mid-sixties.
