It only started opening up Yesterday. The spike due to opening up won't be known until mid week or so.

    That was the goal.
To not overload the healthcare system.

But to spread out. It was called, flatten the curve. But the area under the curve will remain the same.

    What? LOL. Jeepers.

I believe there are several plans out there.
Even the tRUMP admin gave some guidelines on opening.

When you have a lot of unknowns, is it better to error on the side of caution or to ignore it?

My biggest financial worry is that we jump the gun and have to shut everything down again, that would be a catastrophe.

Exactly, the horse is out of the barn, the virus will percolate globally at it's own pace.

I doubt GA cases would spike in one day. They're aren't proposing anything different than what Sweden is successfully doing.

    Get the numbers DOWN.

you walk into a crowd of people and everyone has the virus... there’s a pretty good chance you get it

Walk into a crowd and only ONE person has it, and the chance you get it is a LOT lower

Ya I noticed you didn't post one either :) What is it with the left? It's always "There Is A Plan Out there" but its like pulling teeth to get them to show an example of it :)

How many deaths will it take before you realize how serious this is?

You were so proud to post the IHME forecast of 60,000 deaths by the end of June.

We reached that number two months earlier.

The average number of deaths per day is 2000. At this rate, there will be 100,000 deaths by July.

    Isn't that enough?

And if they, by themselves did that, that's great. The immunocompromised should take less risks then the vitally healthy citizenry. We should indeed look out for these at-risk citizens, but we can effectively pool them and segregate them from the healthy population and treat it on a case-by-case basis.

Sweden has basically done this, because they still believe in democracy.

No matter how many times or how slowly I read it, you've still provided no proof to back up your statement. Then you actually answered with snark when it was questioned. Sorry but that's not how this works.

Whether it was China or any other country, Trump was totally unprepared for this kind of threat.

He'll pay the price next November.

So whats prepared? We are all hunkered down, the virus is still the NUMBER 1 problem here and globally, right? So just WTF was there to be prepared for, clearly there is no answer to the problem, you do see how ridiculous it is to blame anyone for the virus other then Chiner..

Why bother? Just read everything as "WE MUST HUNKER DOWN" until someone finds a vaccine that will only help a little until my immune system can or cant save me ;)

    Wait......

You mean to tell me they actually jumped on the chance to point their fingers at Georgia for reopening the state, and use it as "proof" the nation should remain shut down?
    Shades of Rahm Emanuel !!
    Who'd a thunk it?
    I'm shocked.

NO. No, silly reasonable adult, pssst! the death counts didn't turn out as planned, so we need to put special colored box formatting on the -cases- now, THOSE are the big numbers. Deaths, obituaries, angry funeral directors and morgue workers being lied to was too easy to spot any way, we can hide immense fear-porn within the "cases" though! Just think two more months til ballot harvesting! Keep up the good fight! Country be damned.

Yep, big 10 or so mafia cities, 50kish deaths, rest of 40 states, 25kish deaths? Hmmm ;)
