Y'all are forgetting that these DJ's didn't choose to make this call - it was discussed with their management. In short, they were told by their bosses to go ahead with it. Suicides have often more than one reason. I would agree that it is not a nice call prank, but I simply dont believe that this is the main factor for the suicide. I dont know how the conditions are in the UK, but if nurses get similarily exploited as in German hospitals, in combination with a bad chief nurse and a bad leading of the hospital, I can imagine how such a suicide can take place.

Its simple to use such moderators who should indeed have better thought about their jokes and how appropriate they were as scapegoats.

It turns out that the nurse had made two previous attempts to kill herself and was prescribed antidepressants. As I said, mentally healthy people do not kill themselves due to a prank call. And I am sure even the poor nurse did it due to something else.
