    How is it hardwired?
    It is a learned behavior.

You actually hate people for how they might look? Based solely on one's skin color?

But no one can explain what it is.
You discuss it, but what is it? No, I haven't noticed because no one has defined it.

Is this how you define it?

    ...
State Rep. Chris Pringle told Alabama Media Group columnist Kyle Whitmire his bill was “pretty simple.”

“All it says is you can’t teach critical race theory in K-12 or higher education in the state of Alabama,” Pringle said.

When asked what that meant, Pringle claimed ― incorrectly ― that it “teaches that certain children are inherently bad people because of the color of their skin, period.”

Of course there a lot of things "hardwired" that do not advance the species like greed, jealousy, lying, hedonism, maliciousness....and on and on. None needs to be tolerated in society and have been actively suppressed as racism should be.

    Science says otherwise.

Your project to extinguish racism is doomed to failure. You can deny it all you want, but that won't change the facts.

I don't hate people for how they look. Do you.

Perhaps you should educate yourself. Read Kendi and Angelo. I have.
But it might be more convenient for you to remain ignorant, I guess. That is called willful ignorance.

They haven't been suppressed very successfully. Trying to suppress racism will be just as unsuccessful.

You are stating you won't live in a segregated community because of others skin color.
You are trying to state racism is born into everyone, when it's a learned behavior.

    ...
Racism is Learned at an Early Age
    Racism Learned

“New research suggests prejudices may form at a much earlier age, but also offers hope that biases can be unlearned (Boston Globe, 2012).”

Discriminatory and racial behavior may be learned in children as young as three years old, according to Mahzarin Banaji (a psychologist, brain researcher, and racism and physical prejudice expert from Harvard University). Children are quick to demonstrate racist behavior and form connectivity between negative biases following exposure to episodes of discrimination.

So, you can't define or explain it either.
    I really didn't think so.

So, it's a topic one just makes up what they want.
It must be inconvenient for you to explain what CRT is. And not the cathode ray tube found in electronic monitors.

One doesn't fix an issue by suppressing it. That's what we in USA have been doing for 300 yrs. And we still have racism learned in this country.

OK. Knock yourself out. People have been trying to suppress racism and eliminate the achievement gap between the races for fifty years with no success.

The proposal know is to dismantle systemic racism. What are you going to do after you've dismantled all the systems?

CRT is the theory that race is a social construct used to oppress BIPOCS and posits the existence of White privilege and systemic racism.

    No they haven't.
There's a great many who still don't think it exists for the last 50 yrs. Can't fix something if many don't see it as a problem.

Suppression is not a fix, it hides the problem. As witnessed by so many thinking it doesn't even exist.

    About?
I just point out to those who claim racism ended 50 yrs ago, you are wrong.

With the awareness of racism in the forefront again, younger and younger generations are aware of it and over time, will weed off of being racist.
Just like most young people care little at all about gay people.

It's a generational change. The dinosaurs eventually die off.

Which of course is true. So why are republicans banning talking about it in shcools?

Whites have run the country since it's founding. Of course there's white privilege. I enjoyed every day of my life.
And systemic racism by the laws, changed 50 yrs ago, but that didn't change people's minds about racism. Nor will it, they need to die off.

50 yrs ago, hardly a white person was involved with MLK and the civil rights of blacks.
Today, as many whites as blacks march along side blacks marking civil injustices in the country against blacks. Times have changed in 50 yrs. It may be another 50 yrs before those in denial of system type racism are gone.

Republicans don't think it is true and so want to ban it.

The idea is that teaching about White privilege and systemic racism will cause animosity toward White people and make White people feel ashamed of their race.

Do you think people change their mindset over night? Most people never change their mindset. They always stick to the good ole days of when they were younger.

Of course, teaching truth is what Rs always want to stop.

White privilege is something you and I enjoy each and every day of our lives. We don't get pulled over by a cop because we are driving to nice a car.

I wouldn't know. I never drive a nice car. Back when I had long hair I got hassled by the fuzz a number of times, even in a crappy car.

And my own "kind" are others I perceive as being most like me. I am a LOT more like many blacks who live in my area than I am like most all of my white neighbors by a pretty long shot.
