Is this guy serious? The trump administration was praised by the Heritage Foundation as being more conservative than Reagan's administration. Mr. Anonymous heaps praise on McCain. I know he didn't write this crap but some RINO did. Bill Crystal of the Weekly Standard and George Will must have had input on this hit piece. It's laughable.

For the past two years, hundreds of people close to the President have been questioning his mental stability.

So sorry, the comparison between Trump and Obama does not stand up.

 

I think the writer should have just quit and left the administration too. He/she could then come out publicly, do the talk show tour, write a book etc... By remaining in his/her job they are disrespecting their colleges. It will cast a shadow of suspicion over everyone and increase the tension level at the white house.

Yup, the NYT, which, along with the Washington Post, are two of the most reputable and influential papers in the nation and are doing yeoman work. If I was going to sound the alarm as the Trump official did, I'd pick the NYT or WSJ or WAPO - a paper with cred and reach. Would you have felt better if the high level Trump official had approached the Bozeman Daily Chronicle?

I have long suspected that there were many 'adults' throughout the White House staff that worked to keep Trumps worst impulses from undermining our vital national interest. I recall times when Trump would tweet something incredible stupid or impulsive and someone would send out a 'clarification' within a day, times when the stated policies of the administration were completely contrary to Trump's latest inane idea, when he would bash an ally only to have someone in the State dept reiterate how close our relationship is etc.

I definitely sleep better knowing some of them will come between Trump and his war toys and GI Joe collection.
I don't want them to resign because they are the only solution we have to this problem. Neither impeachment nor the 25th amendment are viable options so these heroes stand between us and utter chaos. I hope one day we can give these people the recognition and honors that they deserve. What they are doing is hard, very hard. Quitting would not only be easier, they would earn a lot more money in the private sector.
