    IN my own twisted little mind, I think the writer is Pence. Setting himself to take over when trump gets impeached and increase the odds of reelection in 2020.

    Everyone would be wise to stay calm and not get too excited about this. Fact is we don't know the legitimacy of this op-ed. Could be real, could be bogus, we don't know.

    The author wouldn't be given anonymity if he/she were low level. So they'd have to be in the West Wing. And as I read it, they are doing a service to America by staying in their job... I'd LOVE for it to be Kelly!

    Not like those of us who actually dealt with him at a business level. We tried to warn you that he wasn't to be trusted. Tried to warn people that he was toxic. Now we've had two years
    of the Kardashian President and we didn't get the promised "wonderful" healthcare because nobody trusted him in Congress. We got butt-kiss on the Korean situation. The Russians got everything they wanted with a weakened NATO and having Syria handed to them on a platter. We got a rising deficit and debt just as bad as anything Obama gave us. We have no immigration policy because Trump can't build a coalition in Congress, even with his own party in charge.

    Things don't get done when a coalition can't be built and it's the President's job to build those coalitions. Nobody trusts Trump.

    I saw this and the first thought in my head was.......do I trust anonymous......?

    In today's world I'm really starting to have issues with the "anonymous: out there, but at the same time if I was in the White House and wrote this I wouldn't put my name on it also.

    He (or she) may be one of the people helping to keep trump at least partially on the rails. He (or she) may be doing this country a great service. It may not be in this country's best interest for him (or her) to resign.

    I wonder if you can start a poll on a thread after it's been submitted??

    I was looking at a page of the Trump cabinet and cabinet level members, and the only 3 I can 100% rule out are Pence, Zinke and Mulvaney

    If somebody can suggest Coats, can I suggest Sessions?? Certainly nobody has taken more abuse from Trump than he has ....

    The issue is Trump's mental state........with is resulting in his pathological behaviour. Apart from the fact he was never prepared for the job itself...........he does not have the character to do the professional job that is so necessary in this positron .......for the country and for the world. He really IS a danger to the country........and world.

    Look at how he is reacting all this........(which is of HIS own creation) TRUMP IS NOT RATIONAL==psychologically. He is unstable, volatile , and mentally incompetent. and deteriorating

    Trump's fake news........reaction is just his usual denial........ and delusion or lie
