Even though I voted for Trump, and surely would do so again, I doubt that I would be successful working for him, either. He's too mercurial and temperamental -- jumping from one thing to the next in a kind of helter-skelter way that is unsettling.

But the thing that would get me FIRED would be telling him, straight-up, "Mister President, sir, GET RID OF THAT F*CKING TWITTER ACCOUNT!"

I know he's got people on the staff that tell him Twitter and other social medial platforms are the ideal way to 'reach' Millennials and others who can't survive now without constant contact in 'the hive-mind', but how many people with fully-functioning, healthy mentalities might that include...? :psychoitc:

Still, there is no requirement in the United States that you must have a fully-functioning, healthy mentality in order to VOTE. :omg:

I don't mind that the president in our time uses Twitter as the bully pulpit. It's the fireside chat, but with better technology. My primary objection is that he uses twitter to trash his fellow citizens. POTUS should never attack private citizens for disagreeing with him. It also demonstrates a highly narcissistic personality. Twitter is showing him to be the man we all suspect he is.

I have mixed feelings about Donald Trump. DT Vs. the corrupt bipartisan ruling political class?
    That's easy - DT.

Trump attacks powerful corrupt political institutions and the dishonest power players who work for them. We need more of that.

Repeating your DEBUNKED FALLACY does not alter the FACT that it is a FALLACY that has been DEBUNKED!

Now until you can provide INDEPENDENT CREDIBLE nonpartisan sources that will substantiate that misleading drivel that you are swallowing without question there is nothing further to say.

Either produce the ACTUAL "classified information" or the rest of your posts will be IGNORED for obvious reasons.

I am specifically referring to his attack on private citizens for disagreeing with him. This is wrong. I don't remember a president in my lifetime who attacked private citizens like he does, if at all. I can't recall a single incident.

Assuming you aren't a Trump-hater, why on earth would you do that...?

You accuse me of "pure conjecture" in #1 and then go wandering off into bizarre conspiracy conjecturing as if the Dems were actually capable of coming up with a "coordinated effort" to ever get their act together.

One of the reasons why I am an Independent is because the Dems are the most disorganized rabble I have ever encountered. They don't have a clue how to organize themselves let alone come up with an actual working strategy and a tactical plan to accomplish it.

Factual reality dictates that if we ask this question the only benefit of the op-ed is to placate the GOP MODERATE base enough to get them to turn up and vote in the Midterms.

Not bad! We agree on 4 out of 6 issues on the op-ed. Granted it is just another side-show in the circus train wreck of the BLOTUS regime and it distracts attention from the ongoing crimes and nefarious agenda being enacted to the detriment of We the People.

"Political plants" are invasive now. Attacks on attackers are always justifiable.

Read again - carefully this time. Greenwald is not "partisan" pro Trump source.
He is an expert on the scope of the espionage acts.

Twitter is exposing the BLOTUS as an immature insecure bully whose mental faculties are turning to mush as his genetic predisposition towards Alzheimers manifests itself in paranoia, forgetfulness and tantrums.

I could not disagree more. It is shameful for a president to go on the attack of a citizen with a differing opinion. Oh, wait, that's something children do. Never mind. Yes, Trump is a child; nobody really disputes this.

It drives Trump haters crazy. I do not care what he tweets as long as we have peace and prosperity like we have.

Yes, pretty lame ...... -to mechanically accept it because someone said it I mean, and abandoning one's own rational assessment in the process instead of seeing "Herb's" story as just more evidence to add to the growing pile. Yup. Pretty lame. What's also at least as lame is the refusal to see something that is as obvious as Trump's horrible unfitness for the position and his constant offenses because it doesn't work for our partisan loyalties. There has never been anything more obvious, yet some 32% refuse to see it.

That's ok. Trump will soon be taken down hard by Mueller on the basis of the testimonies and evidence provided by Trump's own closest allies.

I don't know who Herb is, and his opinion doesn't carry any weight with me.

You're extremely biased. I don't buy most of your arguments.

I'm biased. You don't buy mine.

    So?

Naw .. you should monitor your Koolaid intake more closely. In general Trump fully supports the corrupt political system and the more dishonest the power player .. the better - Unless of course those players are attacking Trump in which case they are attacked.

Denial is the stock in trade in the above post.
For the last time, from your supplied link.

Mr. Papadopoulos, formerly a Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I. about meetings he had with a professor who had close ties to the Russian government.

The lie was dates he met with the Maltese professor. The term he had close ties to the Russian government is an error. People make things up. Anyway, the crime that was punished with a mere 14 days was for lying to the FBI.

Yes, the Trump tower meeting got started when the Trump team realized it had been lied to. They broke off the meeting.

He has suffered the most abuse in office I have witnessed. And GW Bush was abused, but this is worse.
    He has guts for sure.
