It’s totally supported. Many many guns are illegally owned in Mexico. Making things illegal doesn’t mean people will not get them. Hunter Biden is a perfect example of that fact.

You’re on an island. The smuggling of guns would be much harder in that case. Most countries that ban guns have higher murder rate than the United States. Also you are cherry picking. There are countries that banned guns and have higher murder rates than the United States. If that’s the case then it’s safe to say laws don’t stop people from illegally owning guns or committing murder. It’s a culture problem.

Hemenway is one of the major jokes that the gun banners trot out. He's a paid shill for gun ban inc. one of his studies claimed that a home with guns in it is X times more likely have a murder with gun shot (duh)

but he counted homes where the intruders brought the gun to a disarmed home or to an armed home (which meant that the guns in the home were not relevant). I note that the map you have has MEXICO with a higher murder rate than the USA, same with the RSA. want to tell me about the gun laws in those two countries?

well who should they vote for if the other choice is Biden? we have established that Trump has appointed three fairly solid pro gun justices. WE have established that Biden-both when he was on the Obama/Biden ticket and now with Kamala Harris-has appointed or was part of appointing three hard core gun haters,

so you really have no choice, If you stay home that is almost as good for Biden as voting for him

 

I won’t vote or find a third party to vote for. No supreme judges will be retiring soon anyway

 

If you want to argue that, sure, but if you get a Republican who allows uncontrolled immigration, or you get a Democrat, it will be far worse for your position.

Despite whatever Trump's personal views may be, he's probably not going to be pushing any gun control. He has nothing politically to gain by that. All the people who want gun control loathe him and will never give him any support no matter how much he compromises, whereas all his most loyal supporters would dump him if he ever tried pushing any gun control.
I suspect he personally doesn't care too much about the issue, whatever his personal opinion or inclinations may be. It's really not a priority for him compared to other issues.

Before you choose to "dump Trump", you might want to identify an alternative that would actually end up being better for your position.

As you should know, given another 10 or 20 years or so of uncontrolled immigration, the conservative pro-gun freedom position is probably going to end up being over.

 

I am sure Biden loves hearing that from people who claim to be pro gun. I didn't think Scalia would retire either. He ended up dying earlier than we expected. A woman I knew well had no health issues other than a couple kidney stones. 64 years old. recommended weight, no nothing. Last tuesday she didn't wake up. i was at her funeral a few days ago. Another woman-the mother of one of my former US Team members that I coach went in for a routine biopsy. there was some issue, her lung was punctured-I was at her burial two weeks ago. She was younger than Clarence Thomas

 

I will not give my support to a gun grabber. Specially the only one who has done forced confiscations and destruction orders. Even in Australia they bought the guns during confiscation. So I can’t understand why @Bowerbird doesn’t like the gun grabbing moron

 

agreed but I know a couple things. he is a big fan of the Federalist society (run by close college friends of mine BTW) and they are keen about judges how rule correctly on the second amendment. Plus Trump's sons-especially Don Jr, is hard core pro gun rights.

It’s far from silly. I know many many gun owners that claim a revolution would result from confiscation in America. However when Trump done what he done he proved that’s not true at all cause those very people back him up for some awful reason
