True dat. That's the thing that I felt about Obama's Presidency. He seemed more to emphasize his world leader role over his responsibilities here at home. If I were the only one who felt that way Trump probably wouldn't have been elected.
The whole point of MAGA is that half or more of Americans are tired of funding all that while watching our living standards drop to that of those we are supporting. America first is more than a slogan, it's how our government should function. The world is all grown up since WW2 and can take care of itself now.
America just tossed the toddler-in-chief lol his crybabies wanted Mike and Nancy dead cos they couldn't keep getting their way all the time. ugly America can get out of the way and let real Liberals show the haters how it's done.
Biden is not a unifier. Democrats in general aren't. After years of their party acting as divisive as possible, the idea that want unit now is nonsensical.
Yeah. We already know the right wouldn’t, and everyday conservatives eat it up for 4 years. Now they want to act like they’ve always been riding the high road, two days into a new administration.
So you're argument is if we make abortions illegal again, make being gay illegal again, get rid of labor unions, gerrymander the country so black and hispanics will have no say in government the country will unify?
We need to stop with the "criminal behavior", IMHO..... What T**** did (up to and including) on 1/6 is impeachable (check), removable (well.....check I guess), and disqualifying (TBD). And that's enough of a goal for the impeachment trial activities... I'm of the belief that nobody will ever charge him for criminal acts for his actions (and inactions) on 1/6... Of course, there is plenty of other criminal behavior that can and will be explored (and I certainly include the Georgia phone call), but not 1/6
"us?" "Pine Gap?" Have we got an Aussie watching US politics? Why should you care what happens here in the US? Don't you "down unders" have your own concerns to worry about? Like China breathing down your backsides?
This is an OPINION Article. And, it is Clearly marked as Such. Analysis by Maeve Reston As far as her OPINION: She makes some good points. Clearly, Biden isn't inheriting the most Ideal Situation (when it comes to Senatorial Priorities). Such is to be expected when the Incoming President inherits a MESS, which includes the Previous President facing Impeachment for Inciting a Deadly Act of Domestic Terrorism. So, on topic, and Addressing Reston's OPINION: She makes some interesting observations, but in the end, I (personally) feel that the Impeachment Trial should Proceed. Outside of a deliberate attempt to pump up the view count by posting a clearly-labeled OPINION Article in Current Events, I don't really need much purpose for this article being posted in the Wrong Section Unless, of course, since CNN is (in some cases, whether true or not) perceived as having a "Liberal bias"... Some of Trump's "Defenders" are seeking Confirmation Bias by going "Lookie Here! CNN!". In any event, the OP is a rather interesting OPINION Article.
So, assuming that your "premise" is to be given proper analysis... Since Trump's 74.2 Million Votes (represented only 22.5% of the American Population), then, you are "claiming" that 10's of Millions (who believe in the idea of MAGA) voted for Biden? Interesting.
In fairness, Biden inherited that bag of flaming poop from the House democrats. Biden is trying to steer clear of it as much as possible with equivocal statements like he supports whatever the Congress decides.
