Read your own articles. They require category 1 masks which includes cloth masks made to a particular standard. They are still superior to medical masks which require steam cleaning and periodic replacement while cloth masks can easily be maintained Normal washing. Fauci was, is and will be right in this matter. They are more effective.

Not only that, but Fauci recommendations were made at a time when surgical masks were NOT in easy supply. A new more contagious coved has emerged due to inadequate vaccinations.
