You can read all about Fauci. He's just a person who's been at his job for 37 yrs. Which is a very long time. So he must be good at it.

 

I'm not speaking for @Daniel Light but I don't believe that comment was personal. He asks that question all the time and there are some people that get all their news on blogs. One of my friends ONLY reads stuff on Facebook. I've stopped trying to reason with her on it. I don't have the bandwidth for ridiculous conversations.

Again, not speaking for him but people like him, you and me can generally recognize "the sky is falling" posters. They tend to use the same tone and love font colors and sizes. I guess they want to convince us through bedazzling. LOL

 

Longevity at a job is not evidence of the quality of that employee's contributions. Beyond that, he is very, very good at playing politics. That is more likely the cause of his job retention.

Back to Fauci, he’s a god to many and any criticism no matter how fact based is resisted. To be fair, some of the criticisms of Fauci are not fact based and that’s very unfortunate. I don’t believe in knocking people for things they did not do wrong. But Fauci and masks is not one of the non-factual criticisms as you well know. He messed that one up badly—he still stands by his lies today. Not cool for an epidemiologist. It kills people unnecessarily.

I'll confess now that I have some people on "ignore" solely because all those fonts and colors give me headache. It is also annoying when people capitalize words in the middle of a sentence that aren't supposed to be capitalized. It's harder to read. I guess they think that makes their message stand out. It does. I bypass them.

Fauci is a representation of - and emination out of "The Beast" - The natural outcropping of self interest and greed - in a pay to play system.

Fauci is a good foot-soldier for the "Establishment" - of which most definitions are laughable - the correct one being an Oligopoly-Bureaucracy Fusion Monster - where 90% is on the take cause who wants to shoot the golden goose - policy on the basis of powerful interconnected lobbies working both sides of the fence .. the things both Red and Blue agree on is where the devil is found.

Hot button issues such as abortion - gay marriage - immigration - are of no interest to the big money interests - keep the gravy train flowing and maintain the status quo is the name of the game .. and if you play along - you get paid - and everyone knows it.

Sure you have a lone voice here and there calling out drug price fixing - Everyone points and goes "Look Look - we have freedom of speech in this country - what a good system we have"

That lone voice is then quickly drowned out by the cacophony on the take - and the status quo maintained .. systemic issues not addressed .. Obamacare was lipstick on a pig .. total spend for Healthcare in 2018 was 3.5 Trillion - Fed Revenue was 3.6 Trillion for comparision.

Fauci was directing funding to "verbotten" research in Wuhan which sought to make "Corona Viruses" in bats more transmissible to humans. The justification for this research is that if someday this bat virus decides to jump to humans - "We will be ready" - Just don't let Pandora get out of the box ..but, hey - if it does we all cash in. Fauci funded work that resulted in patents - research articles - on this kind of goblin biowarfare - claiming "Thisis not technically gain of function" .. don't care what we want to call this .. it is goblins at work.

There are many who are as knowledgeable - but no one who is more conflicted - as in conflict of interest - in this matter.

Its like asking a Police Chief - who's force spends 30% of the time busting pot smokers - if pot should be legalized.

It has gotten very Orwellian - authoritarianism rearing head - propaganda on full tilt - trying to "engineer" - and "manufacture" consent.

No. We knew cloth masks were inferior to medical masks years ago. It doesn’t matter when a person claims cloth masks are as good as medical grade masks, it’s a lie. If you received your information from credible sources you would know this.

Have you ever asked yourself, if cloth masks are as good as medical grade masks (N95’s and ASTM 3), why didn’t Fauci just make hospitals cloth masks instead of “saving” N95’s for healthcare workers? Have you ever given any critical thought to why if a shortage was the reason for telling Americans to wear inferior masks, the recommendations didn’t change when millions of NIOSH certified American made N95 masks were piling up on warehouse shelves in late 2020 and early 2021?

I’m very sad that Fauci’s lies have cost the lives of thousands—maybe hundreds of thousands—of Americans.

Because I don't like to make the perfect the enemy of the good. If Fauci felt that with social distancing rules and a shortage
of surgical masks for health care workers, that cloth masks were as good as was available, then I'm not going to freak
out about his saying wear cloth masks. Sure, in hindsight, you can claim things that we now know that weren't as set in
stone then - critical thinking involves what you know at the time, not what you're going to know 6 months from now.

 

We knew it all then. Fauci recommended against all masks at the same epidemiologists in South Korea were figuring out how to get masks to all their citizens. He has always known cloth masks are inferior to medical grade masks. Hospitals would not go to all the expense and trouble of sourcing certified products if cloth masks were just as good. Again, just a little critical thinking makes this obvious.

Appeal to authority can get you killed when it comes to potentially lethal pathogens.

 

I don’t want to say why Fauci does what he does. No way to know. All I can do is show the actual facts of where his recommendations conflict with empirical evidence and principles of epidemiology.

It is a fact N95 masks are far superior for preventing infection in the wearer and in limiting spread from an infected wearer. But still today they are being recommended against by the CDC and Fauci. I do not know what the total supply is today but I can give anyone interested sources for NIOSH certified domestically produced N95’s for immediate delivery to your front door. And early this year millions sat on warehouse shelves of domestic suppliers.

That’s wrong. Quality Cloth masks are superior to n95 masks for public use. Read reference. Medical masks are harder to breath and maintain. They’re best for first responders and medical personnel. Fauci knows more then Fix News troglodytes. Just because they filter better when new, doesn’t mean they’re the best option for the public who won’t buy a new one every three days or steam clean it. They easily deteriorate when washed where layered cloth masks can be better in every respect. Medical personnel not working wear cloth masks when in public for the same reasons.

Well, it was ironic and troubling to me to learn that the guy that had been standing next to Trump and giving us his expert advice on stopping the virus turned out to be the same guy that approved funding its research at a Chinese military bioweapons laboratory.

Has anyone figured out why Fauci would agree to send money to a Chinese military bioweapons facility? Why would he do such thing? Has Fauci been compromised by the Chinese, like so many other western, government officials and elected representatives?
