This comes down to a culture problem. Not just in blacks but a suburban poor culture. Whites aren’t excluded from this culture. In fact if you read Thomas Sowell’s “Black Rednecks And White Liberals” you’ll get a good history course on this subject and find that the black culture that plagues them at the lower classes was largely influenced by the poor white culture of england. Even Ebonics can be traced back to the way they spoke at these plantations. It’s an interesting read.

In that book he also goes into black cultures that hold blacks back. Like their schooling habits, and being hesitant to study for fear of being branded as pretending to be white if they study. I love Thomas Sowell. It’s hard to disagree with the man. You should give him a read. He’s a black author.

Well of course the LIBS would call that racist, like they do for everything. But I thought that you were saying that what Biden said was ACTUALLY racist in the genuine sense.

The word "racist" seems to be used in an inflationary way in the US - and in Germany now, too.
    You cannot escape it.

It is enough if you call your coffee "black" instead of "subsaharan" (which seems to be the politically correct word for "black") to be called a "racist".

Yes I was amazed when the transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg called bridges and roads racist, all while taking time off work during a pandemic and transportation emergency so he and his husband could have a baby !!

Let's remember that Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben were considered racist when normal Americans just associated them with rice and pancakes.

We have posters here, no need to name them who actually think that removing the Aunt Jemima brand and changing it to the Peal Milling company brand(What?) was a great victory for black people.

So taking Auntie off pancake mix and syrup will make the average black IQ higher than 85? It will make 6.5% of our population stop committing more than half the murders in this country?

False what matters is they are black and women, first thing out of Biden's mouth that they be black and women. No Asians, no Native Americans, no Hispanics, no Whites and no men to be considered. That sounds racist and sexist to me.

This is not about whether or not to "bellyache" about it. Is it right or is it wrong to judge someone on the basis of their skin colour?

    Nothing.

Okay, I'll give you that one.

Just like Democrats blocked black Republican Tim Scott's police reform bill in 2020. Anyway, what the hell did Biden's support of the George Floyd Policing bill achieve? What did ANYBODY'S support of it achieve?

Your claim was that Biden has actually DONE things for black America - not that he has merely supported bills!

And what did that do for black America?

And what will that do for black America?

Yet I sense that if Biden DID anything for black Americans he would be accused of positive discrimination and racist in favour of black people.
    This game has two versions.

ISTM from posts above that Republicans are not interested in doing anything for black Americans.
Prove me wrong...I am not up to speed with details. What has the Republican party done for black people in the last year, Biden's term in office.

Trump did more for black Americans than Biden and Obama combined.

But remember it's the bad orange man who's racist!

Probably nothing, but I was simply asking @Moriah to support her claim that Biden has done alot for black America.

Again from imperfect knowledge, it looks as if he TRIED to.
and it was the Republicans who, by voting down his efforts, did nothing at all. In fact militated against doing something.

    By doing what exactly?

Which is no different to Democrats voting down Trump's efforts.

Well that isn't really the issue is it?
and am I correct in thinking , from your post, that your two opposing armies act primarily to cancel each other out and less in the interests of the country ?
That the most powerful and influential country plays Congressional Chess instead of thinking about the benefits they can offer the people?

No!! Well blow me down with a feather.
No wonder you are worried the USA is losing influence.

I keep up with the LW activist community. It is my list - for the DP if it is really interested in empowering serious black female activists. Of course they have no interest at all in doing that.

    In Dem/Left speak

To have conversations about something is a successful accomplishment
To give speeches about something is a successful accomplishment
To plan about something is a successful accomplishment
To be concerned about something is a successful accomplishment
To set a goal about something is a successful accomplishment
To have for a long time had conversations about, given speeches about, planned about, been concerned about, set goals about, is even MORE a successful accomplishment.

    Actually accomplishing something not required

The same may apply to Republicans. Aren't most of them utterly useless in Congress?

Well according to the fringe left all white people are racist.....

So that strike one, strike two and three is his long record of actual racism.

He don't want his kids going to school in no racial jungle..... Would anyone but a racist say something like that?

Someone please explain to me how that is not the comment of a racist
