    Yes Required .. by definition in urban combat .. where everything you shoot at has a civilian casualty in the blast zone.. and certainly when dropping 1000 lb bombs leveling high level apartment blocks in crowded civilian area. Don't take much tricks at all .. just have to have some fellow they think may be related to someone who knew someone who was a bad guy to wander in the neighborhood .. sneaky devils.. tricking those Israeli's into killing civilians. .

    I take it you have yet to digest the term "Collective Punishment" .. in all its lovely phases ?! .. well .. have a ponder on that and then we can move into Ethnic Cleansing of the Land .. from the River to the Sea .. with 1000 lb bombs leveling Hospitals Christian Churches and Mosques .. 40% of the dead are children- the rest innocent civilians..

    You said that tricks are not required to cause civilian deaths. I agree, tricks are not required but certainly it happens. There are many examples of ISIS and Al Qaeda using civilians as leverage or to deceive soldiers.

    Since you don’t know me you should understand that I don’t favour either side in this war. I think both sides have valid grievances against each other and I disagree with the path chosen by both Hamas and the IDF.


    IN MY OPINION Israel has a right to defend itself and to go after the hostages but they are currently abusing those rights by being too violent and causing too many civilian deaths. I also agree that Palestinians have a right to freedom but they often abuse that freedom with events like October 7 or the numerous suicide bombings. It’s a never ending cycle and choosing sides perpetuates that cycle of violence.

    Hamas wouldn't exist if Gaza wasn't treated like a German ghetto and the Palestinians like second-class citizens. Israel shares much of the blame for what happened on October 7th, and all of the blame for future extremist reprisals. It will be because of their ongoing actions that radicalism spreads, and they will have no one to blame but themselves.
    This war is impossible to win through violence. It can only be won through diplomacy. There might be a lull for a while as newly radicalized people regroup, but then another round of extremist attacks will begin.

    We can see from the three dead hostages waving white flags, mercilessly gunned down. Now imagine those gunshots being hellfire missiles. Same thing but bigger carnage. Same mentality runs through the IDF.

    This is Netanyahu’s son. When we say “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” we are calling for freedom. When the Israeli Prime Minister’s son posts “from the river to the sea, this flag [​IMG] is all you’ll see!”… he is not calling for freedom. THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is an OBVIOUS call for ethnic cleansing and genocide. Of course, this is just an instagram bio, it’s not going to kill anyone. But here’s why it bothers me so deeply: we CANNOT allow normalization of their genocidal rhetoric. And, at the same time, we must refuse the way they co-opt our emancipatory slogans in bad faith, then punish us for them, and then ****ing remix the exact same slogans using ACTUALLY genocidal phrasing. People were fired from their jobs, arrested, even censured in congress NOT for saying “Palestine is all you’ll see” but for simply saying “Palestine will be free”. But where is the outrage now? Will the media talk ad nauseam about the way Yair Netanyahu blatantly professed an agenda of ethnic cleansing? Will Yair face consequences? Will this even spark notable news coverage? Or is it only newsworthy to condemn Palestinian speech? Ultimately, what I’m trying to say is: it’s so painful to see how we get punished for crying out for freedom. And then when they CLEARLY call for our destruction, it’s radio silence. And the cognitive dissonance is unpalatable. The hypocrisy is torturous. Truly. Going forward: ANY TIME they show their genocidal hand SO obviously, we should consider it extremely necessary to call it out LOUDLY. We must condemn it. We cannot be silenced by those who want our destruction. We want freedom, Netanyahu and his empire want destruction. Call it out. Loudly. Full stop.
