It is serious and deadly. The point is that we have enough data now after 9 months to reopen economies. We have scared people out of going to the hospitals for regular checks on their heart conditions, diabetes, cancers and other diseases. We have empty hospital beds across the country. People are starting to OD and commit other forms of suicide at skyrocketing rates.

And you can ADD one thousand covid deaths to that

Do those things mean that we should accept any death from any thing?

    Of course not.

    How callous

We have enough data to understand that going to stage III like Florida is doing is going to spread this thing enormously and further damage an already fragile economy

No, the Covid deaths are tragic, but that doesn't mean we should shut down the economy and increase the number of other deaths and create a new pandemic of widespread mental illnesses from the isolation.

We'll see in a couple of weeks, yes? The alternate scientific theory is that this virus runs through a population (lockdowns or not), takes out the most vulnerable and then regardless of the number of cases, the morbidity rate diminishes.

Florida was probably the first state to try to isolate the elderly from everyone else last spring.

You certainly seem to be a proponent of taking out "the most vulnerable" who WOULD be the elderly

Yes, they died when expected to die unlike many of those who died from Covid-19 who died months, years before they were expected to die

How does that affect my behavior? My parents are adults and can worry for themselves. My responsibility is to make sure I don't get my parents sick.

You just got done saying what a good job Florida has done in protecting their elderly.

Do you forget your posts as soon as you make them?

Mad scientists like Fauci, and rich men like Gates and others gain from this, as planned. Whether just stroked egos or more wealth, or absolutely crazy individuals, it was planned.

Presuming that there are innocent government leaders, they were terrorized just as the man on the street was terrorized by the Fauci Fear Factor. It is well known that humans in a state of fear are completely irrational. Fear subsumes reason.

No, I'm not Joe Biden. My memory is still

Florida did isolate seniors in nursing homes very early.

That does not prevent the elderly from dying from a disease that kills the elderly, particularly seniors still living independently. If DeSantis had thrown Covid-infected residents in with the non-infected, Florida's number would looks more like the failed state of New York. Florida did better.

Kill off the elderly to make the numbers look better.

    Yea...great plan.

And Florida has had its own problems with nursing homes

    Which probably account for this

So you think Trump was right to deliberately play it down?

Play it up or play it down.

WTF ever happened to just telling the story? Just telling the truth.

Trump has been a moral midget his entire life, so your question tends toward absurd. That is, Trump does not know right from wrong.

Stay away from florida then, were already dealing with crowds from all the people moving here the past 3 months.

The vast majority of my new clients are coming from the protest hot spots and lockdown states.

The truth died when alternative facts became the order of the day back in 2016.

I would say the truth died when Operation Mockingbird became functional. 30 years later it led William Casey to opine that when everything the American people believe is false, we will know the success of our misinformation efforts. I suspect he is looking down from heaven and chuckling as to how well indoctrinated the American people are today, with so many wearing masks during house arrest ordered by an unelected federal bureaucrat, over a flu virus.

Men think in herds and go mad in herds. They recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Wonder how many New York seniors had dual-residencies with Florida when they carried the virus with them in the spring? Apparently New Yorkers spread the virus to the rest of the country.

oh that's a given, not that I blame them, I would have loaded up the car and headed out of town as well. It was a mess up there, who wants to hunker down in that mess? Not to mention those peeps stuck in a studio apt, anybody with the means got the hell out, now they are moving here.

My last 3 sales were to people that moved to my city from Milwaukee, NY and Minny/St Paul. That was this week, and its only Wed. Its been a steady stream.
