    Please read. If you can't read my posts, then you can't engage in an honest discussion. I said average. The average seasonal flu is not a pandemic. If you did want to go back in time and find a flu pandemic comparable to COVID, you'd have to go back more than a ****ing century. Please do your homework.

    Ah, it doesn't translate. Just a question though. Do you have a mortality project based on schools reopening? I assume there will be infections, but put a number on how many you expect to die from it.

    Someone hasn't done their homework...

    The Hong Kong Flu was VASTLY more deadly than COVID, and that was about 50 years ago; other flus have been pretty bad too.

    That flu killed around 34,000 people in the US. Double that. Now add 100,000 people. There. Now you have the COVID death count . . . and we haven't even hit winter yet. So, when you say that Hong Kong Flu was "VASTLY more deadly than COVID," what you mean is that you either 1) haven't done your homework or 2) don't understand that 160,000 > 34,000. Which is it?

    The HKF killed MILLIONS worldwide - VASTLY more deadly in a MUCH less populated world with MUCH less travel.
