Me too....you did say 300 sentence min eh? That's another thing! Posts per individual should be the number of characters per user not number of posts which means almost nothing. One line three word posts are effortless. Anyway I am withholding another donation in hopes that the stalling crashing matter is cleared up. When a 20 min time limit is imposed along with a site that stalls and that its not a isolated thing tells me the IT guy is not on top of things. All in all its not a big thing yet but its becoming a problem. I know the mods have nothing to do with it save for being a conduit for our whining...eh?

The site is running slow again, and I think the owner has no intentions of upgrading to VB4.1. It could have been done by now.
It seems like reports are being left unattended more than usual as well.

    What the heck is wrong?

IMO, the owner should sell the site to someone who's motivated to run it. I understand there have been offers... wonder why she keeps hanging on?

I got a strange FATAL ERROR today. Seem to be trading one prob for another... but I also got two whole reps today... hardly worth getting outta bed. *yawn*

Still waiting for even a reply on the offer my co-admin elsewhere sent them. I'm sure there's quite a few offers that have been left unanswered throughout the years. :plug:

Yo, man, some of my best stuff are in the archives!

Also, on that note, many of the old threads have been purged. You can't pull up my first thread back from 2005 on here anymore. I don't think they're erased, but they aren't here.

Very old threads are being archived and have been for the last year or so. This was done to reduce the size of the database and it has improved performance. It is a very time consuming task that many aren't aware of.

They have been stored but it is correct that we can't currently access them. Hopefully with the upgrade to vBulletin 4.0 we might get them back but it may be moot as most are time related and no longer have much meaning.

From a moderator standpoint where we have to use special functions in the performance of our duties I've noticed a very positive change in the last few months. The site owner is working hard on it and hopefully with the upgrade to vBulletin 4.0 things will get even better. I suspect the site will probably be down for 12 hours or so while all of the data is transferred but I haven't heard if that's the actual case. It maybe seamless and not require any downtime but this "non-geek" is still anticipating it might.
