Time to get over it ... 2009 was 3 years ago.

President Obama IS the American President and Mrs. Obama IS the First Lady ... like it or not, it's been that way since January 20th 2009 ... deal with it.

 

This is just stupid. And it's where conservatives proof they don't understand liberal positions.

Liberals... (And I'm talking intelligent ones... not tree hugging pot smoking teenager ones. The ones that make the policies and populate the think tanks)

Liberals don't have any problem with someone being rich. Rich people are a huge part of society. Liberals only want to make it as easy as realistically possible to work your way up from poor to rich. There are some rich people (like the Obamas) who are working towards that goal. There are some rich people who are completely uninterested in national politics or the plite of the poor. And there are some rich people who actively exploit the poor. Those last rich people are the ones we have a problem with. No other rich people.

It has to be jealousy. There you are on Christmas Day, able to go to the beach in your sun dress whereas those in the northern states of America and most of Canada are left to freeze in ugh! Arctic temperatures.

The Owebama's and Pelosi's have been very free with our money, racking op trillions and trillions without ONE thought about who will pay for it...and then run salt in the wound by living a very public high life...they may as well be thumbing their noses and going Neeya, neeya neeya...

 

Had there been an internet when Louis XVI and his consort Marie Antoinette reigned I have no doubt you would have been laboring at your little keyboard tapping out the same dim messages. And I'll bet anything you are one of the 99% bunch, railing against the rich...in most cases!

 

They are paid with advertisement dollars, AKA tax deductible advertisement dollars, made available by government manipulation of the economy (as well as money funneled in from the two party political scam also sheltered and/or tax exempt funding made possible by the best government corporate money can buy).
　
In any case it is irrelevant, they all represent the rich class (yes including Obummer), and the rich class is doing better than ever thanks to one very important ally the best government corporate money can buy.

I think you are only speaking for yourself there.

In a random crowd of liberals there are bound to be a few who are lucid.

But most liberals resent the rich and only tolerate those that support the wipe-every-nose welfare state that rewards lazy or unproductive people.

Which only results in more of the same.

As I have admitted already I don't like Michelle Antoinette.

But that's OK because she didn't like me first which sort of evens out.

The left and right in this country agree on the goal of an economy that rewards every deserving person.

Where we disagree is how to get there and who is deserving and who is not.

Yes, I do find that interesting, assuming you are referring to the caucuses.

 

Yes a predetermined consensus, determining which white rich guy (Obummer still fits the category since he is 50% white and rich the main two priorities) the people will be allowed to vote for. In any case, doesn't matter how the people vote, or think they vote, the election will be decided according to who counts the votes, or who the courts determine will be the two party champion.

In fact, I think he is really underpaid. . .considering that he is the CEO of a whole country, the most "exceptional" country!

How many CEO's do you know who have as many responsibilities as he does who make under $1/2 million?

Although, I'm certain he would make a lot more money going into "private" industry. .
