    "More than 20 people were killed when a gunman opened fire into a country music festival from the 32nd floor of Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Sunday night, police said.

    Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told reporters in a news conference that more than 100 people had been injured.

    Police responded to reports of the shooting just after 10 p.m. (1 a.m. ET), and later killed the suspected gunman, who police said was a local resident, in Mandalay Bay Resort, he added."

    The world is a ****ed up place. I'm praying for the victims families. At least they got the shooter. Hopefully they find the roommate soon.

    A local "terrorist" ( my description) commits another mass killing. At least since Obama is no longer in office we should not be hearing idiots blame the "gubmint" for staging this act in order to "take away our guns".

    I am sure we will hear the same tired old mantra from our current leaders of " our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families".
    Well yes of course thoughts and prayers should never be with the perps or "their " families.

    Some things never change.

    At least this "domestic terrorist" is according to police , thank God, dead.

    I don't understand the report that it was a local man yet has a traveling companion.

    There were early reports that a woman had an argument with two other women. She said to them that they were going to die and then went away. The shooting happened 45 minutes later

    Name allegedly is "Stephen Paddock" aka terrorist scum.

    Edit ad --police say terrorist is 64 years old " known to local authorities" whatever that means.

    I also heard on BBC that an "Asian woman" was the terrorist's traveling chompanion. NBC just reported her name.

    I have been scanning through ABC, FOX, BBC, CBS, all of them fir info.

    I am sure it will be soon that people will speculate which political party the terrorist belonged to. I will get you guys started:

    This was a Country music concert so I will rule out White Supremacist, NAZIS, KKK, sons of the confederacy,.... those groups like Country music.. so there is antififa, BLM, SIERA CLUB, Urban League,...

    Take you Choice and defend your own allegation....

    She looked Asian to me. She's apparently his wife, too.

    They are now reporting over 50 people dead. Dear lord, how terrible.

    Shooter is 64 year old Stephen Paddock from Mesquite, Nevada.

    Those poor people. I can't imagine their terror. I was in Las Vegas twice last year. I know exactly where this happened.

    Prayers for everyone, including the victims, their loved ones, and the entire city of Las Vegas. Absolutely horrific and tragic.

    Nobody is making light of some sick bastard killing over 50 innocent concert goers. This is a terrible tragedy for this country.

    The police are telling people to ignore the nonsense on social media. They are releasing details every few minutes.

    We know his name and where he was from. We know what kind of car he drove. We know he was in a room on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay. We know this woman was his companion, although many are now saying she was his wife. We know he's dead (thank goodness). And we know they're trying to locate his companion.

    I fear more people will die from their injuries. Apparently there are over 200 injured. 50 dead.

    What an horrific story and a sad day in America.
