There WAS a surge and since we know it was NOT from pre-existing conditions, the deaths were caused by covid-19.

No it’s not. Elderly people with the CDC preconditions are at very high risk if they become infected with covid. That’s what the data has always indicated.

There was no surge in preconditions although in the specific case of diabetes the percentage has been steadily increasing for the last few decades due to poor diet and lack of exercise.

 

This is getting quite amusing now. You just seem to read the data but don't understand it. The "mild virus" which ended up killing 7 million people, was the thing that killed these people. It doesn't matter whether you get this or whether you continue arguing about it. You're wrong about it and everyone who takes time to follow this can see just that (nb. everyone who isn't a died-in-the-wool conspiracy theorist).

If they did not have the serious health problems they would have not have passed away. The virus was the straw that broke the camel’s back. If a hemophiliac gets a cut and bleeds out did he die from the cut?

What is the best policy? Making sure that the hemophiliac clearly understands the risks of cuts and internal injuries and taking precautions or passing laws so that no person in the country can possess sharp objects? The answer should be clear.

 

Complete hogwash. The virus wasn't the last damn straw! These people weren't near death, they had a condition that weakened their immune system and that combined with a highly virulent disease left them more vulnerable.

Unlikely in the extreme. Only a very significant cut could be fatal and since it isn't too dissimilar to a non hemophiliac, the cut would be the cause of death. As for your off topic crap about passing laws, what the hell has this to do with wearing masks again!?
