New feature: Like and Dislike added to posts

The list in the Achievements page, is showing you the most recent achievements on the forum.

The system is still catching up to our existing point/post totals. So, everybody who has 250 points at the point when the system gets to that achievement, get awarded it. At some point, it'll get to 500, then 1,000, then 5,000, and so on. I don't know why it is going so slowly on catching up, but that's what it is doing.

That's also why we occasionally get new Achievements when we haven't actually done things.

The list of people that was posted up was a random sampling of users who have more than 250 points. Most are undoubtedly inactive, but they still have 250 points, so the database is processing them.

I hope that helps deal with the confusion.

Please note. No one said that entity "represented" the Left. Only that he was a liberal, which is true. It was you who started the red-herring argument, as illustrated above.

The fact is, as Smarty pointed out, that members of the Left are the ones that overwhelmingly engage in this nonsense. Doesn't make all Lefties d-bags. Just that, in this case, all d-bags are Lefties.

If you check your achievements, you'll see that you only have an achievement for 250 points as well. It's working a backlog.

Yours will eventually go up to 250,000 (or by the time it gets there, 300-400k). If you see, next to your name, you have a yellow dot. Hold your cursor over it, and the text "250 experience points" will show up.

It's just starting to process the points that people already possess. So, when you get a new achievement for 500 experience points (will happen in a few days, maybe a week or two), you'll also see a list of other people who possess 500 experience points. Regardless of when they got those points, they are just now being processed in the system.

Lefties have nothing in this country!! We have become completely disenfranchised, just as conservatives who actually believe in the free market and small government have become disenfranchised. What we have left are two corporatist parties, neither of which comes anywhere near being left-wing. So a shill for one of those parties cannot be particularly left-wing, or else they would never support either of those parties.

 

Why are you repeating silliness I already addressed? 2 of the people on that list were NOT on the left, and Montoya DOES NOT represent the left. Both of those things are undoubtedly true, and yet you ignore that to repeat an already rebutted point. Please do try to keep up.

Well, they've been 'being processed' for a couple of months now.

Here's what I think the problem is.

Someone installed the new updated software, then went on about their life worrying about everything except this forum. Updates take hours, not months. The ones who can make all these features work don't have time to mess with 'em. The ones who can do nothing about it are left here to 'explain'.

When did our 'update' start... March, wasn't it?
