Unless you are suggesting the bullet to be anything but inanimate, I don't see your point. My point being, the bullet is inanimate. In most cases the firearm requires a user, I certainly won't deny that.
That's the point. Guns don't fire without a user. The user is the animation. The inanimate object does nothing on it's own.
