Ya know, it is puzzling to an outside observer as I am, being down here. Wade gets thrown under a bus because of the appearance of impropriety in a prosecuting team, yet despite the existence of far worse than the mere appearance of impropriety, someone*** running to become POTUS is allowed to do so. The system gets all uppity and self-righteous about some local dime a dozen lawyer, but could not care less about a POTUS *Rapist *Swindler *Bordering on pathological
Wade's hearing was done where both sides of the issue was presented. There has been no such hearing for Trump.
That was a civil trial. However, the damage done to Trump likely exceeds what could ever be done in a criminal case. He judged a case where "unheard of" damages were awarded in a case where no other person suffered any damage whatsoever and where the banks could have accomplished their appraisals and denied the loans. It was a victimless crime, but nearly a half billion in damages were awarded.
That’s not true, any of it! TRaitor tRump defrauded the State of New York out of millions in taxes. $450 million is going to seem cheap if he’s found guilty in even one of his criminal cases and ends up spending what could be the rest of his life in prison.
Whatever....it was a full blown Trial, a hearing in which both sides had their say (as in the Wade matter,) a hearing you incorrectly asserted never happened.
Which is odd since American liberals are consumed with race 24/7. Perhaps you've heard of all the DEI initiatives in this country. Do you frown on them since they don't keep you up at night?
By what logic do you believe it is OK to fine someone for nearly a half billion dollars for events which had no victims? No one lost money and the banks were satisfied with Trump's performance.
A judge can say anything and anything can be inserted in the congressional records, but they prove nothing.
Everyone is guaranteed a fair trial. Wade wasn't disbarred. He wasn't charged. He was simply removed from the prosecution team. He can still be a prosecutor, just not on that case. Luckily for Willis, McAfee is trying to get reelected, or she would have been kicked off, too. There are no laws preventing Trump from running for office. What's so hard to understand?
That's a civil trial of dubious constitutionality, firstly. Secondly, there's no law prohibiting Trump from running, nor holding office.
There were no "court findings" and the congressional record doesn't convict someone of a crime; that's why we have a judicial branch.
