    What it ISN'T is a criminal trial that proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump committed a crime.

    At the end of the day, literally the only evidence is Carroll's word.

    Surely, even in your jacked up judicial system a person can't be convicted on the word of one person?

    Can a politician in Australia be barred from holding office based the accusation of one person?

    Because our judicial system requires a higher level of integrity from lawyers and judges than our electoral system requires from political candidates.

    By your standards, the last 4 Democrat presidents couldn't hold office.

    Sure can, if a Jury is satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the one person is telling the truth.

    No, but if a Court had made a finding of unlawful behaviour against them, they would never have Party endorsement and would never be elected.

    And that is what is so bizarre. A POTUS (Dem or Rep) can be as corrupt as you like, but a Lawyer (not a SCOTUS like Clarence Thomas) gets the boot just on the whiff of impropriety. Only in the USA.

    Rape is a criminal act. He was not found guilty in a criminal court.
    He was not speeding or driving under the influence. No one was harmed. It was the duty of the banks to question the appraisals. They accepted Trump's appraisals and benefited by his actions. No one benefits by a person speeding or driving under the influence.

    What part of this do you not get.

    Fire a gun on fifth avenue and you've committed a crime. EVEN IF NO ONE GETS HURT.
    Drive a car with a 0.20 BA level and you've committed a crime. EVEN IF NO ONE GETS HURT.
    Try and fail to rob a bank and you've committed a crime. EVEN IF NO ONE GETS HURT.

    Judge rules??

    He ruled that Trump committed fraud because he inflated the value of his properties. The problem with that is there is no hard and fast value of his properties. No matter how it is done, it is a matter of opinion. An opinion which the banks did not challenge. Since the banks made a lot of money out of those loans and since they agreed to the value of the property, aren't the banks also guilty of fraud? In fact, the only people who came out of the transactions with more money than they started with were the banks. They are definitely guilty of fraud.

    Yes, and it was the civil standard in the Wade/Willis matter. Same standard in the NY (Engoron) matter.

    He has more warts than a cane toad and about as much appeal. Truly truly a horrible person through and through. He spent decades pushing himself on women with or without consent. He consorted with the mafiosi, stiffed contractors, threatened people who spoke out against him and defrauded thousands
