Err, Saddam would of happily ordered his army to use those imaginary WMDs to allow him more time to escape. Where on Earth did you think that Saddam wanted to make a valiant stand

You think using NBCs of any type would give Saddam a better chance to escape ?

Pissing off the most powerful military and country in the world by using chemical weapons would have resulted is a effort to capture and punish Saddam that was 10x times greater than what was going on at the time.

His army collapsed upon itself. They were not going to do anything like that that would have made it worse for themselves.

Again refer back to the mass surrenders of the Iraqi military, you think that military was going to use chemical weapons on a force they knew could crush them if they did? You think surrenders would have occurred as they did had they used chemical weapons? You think they wanted to stand trial as war criminals?

Use a bit of comon sense.

WMDs are not launched by the low ranked soldiers! You clearly have no idea how ruthless Saddam was

This is speculation based on wishful thinking. The Stanford study...

"That's the takeaway from a small study of coronavirus antibodies in more than 3,000 people in Santa Clara County, California. The results suggested that between 2.5% and 4.2% of people in the county have contracted COVID-19, which is 50 to 85 times greater than the number of cases being reported at the time. Not everyone is convinced the true prevalence is that high, however, with some saying the antibody test the researchers used was not reliable."

Let's say the numbers are that high. Even at 4.2%, we're along way from establishing herd immunity.

Where we should be testing is New York. Is NYC getting close to herd immunity? Is NYC as bad as it gets? I think we should continue efforts to suppress the virus until we know how many people have contracted it.

We know how to stop the economy from falling apart, but the pols in both parties have chosen to underfund help to business, large and small, and the result are layoffs, widespread unemployment, and desperate people without the means to put food on the table.

Exactly. Why isn't the government ordering businesses to produce PPE and brushing aside patents and proprietary designs? Only the feds can break up the logjam. We need PPE for everyone--front line workers first, then more vulnerable people, then the general public. We can't open up the economy as long as a large portion of society feel threatened if they go to the mall.

    That would be 2+m Americans.

Anyway, we're letting the economy fall apart when we could keep it together. Liberals don't want to give money to business and conservatives want to stop money going to the unemployed.

What are you babbling about? What on Earth do you know about weapon deployment? Or Iraqi military capabilities or doctrine?

And to save you the trouble of asking. USMC with a MOS of 0231 during said conflict. I think it is safe to say I've forgotten more about Iraqi military capabilities and doctrine than you shall ever know. :)

Attempting to talk about how ruthless Saddam was yet trying to say he "disposed" of his chemical weapons is logical to you?

I know more about Iraq than you'll ever know but I'll leave it at that. You clearly have no clue about viability of WMDs or about anything else for that matter. Oh, "you" found a WMD that someone got a little headache from is evidence that Iraq had viable weapons :roflol:

Yeah, let's leave it at that vagueness on your part. Everyone can judge the validity of your post if they choose to.
