Wiki is a good source. I haven't known them to be incorrect yet.

Yes she was, Indonesian law requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt for conviction. She was convicted. What you really mean is that emotional trial by media maniulation and rhetoric didnt prove her guilty which is an entirely different thing.

You must be kidding! I don't know anybody that is in any doubt about her guilt.

Many people are in doubt as to her guilt. You obviously didn't follow the court case or you would see the same. There are too many problems and questions.

Indonesia just wanted to make an example out of a pretty young Aussie. That is all.

Only the Questions you do not have the answer too. Apparently, their is no question to the Indonesian authorities. lol

Isn't the world terrible that they do not run everything by you to measure justice out your way?

If things were run by the Indos, all the terrorists would be free and the druggies would be dead. Because Indonesia favors terrorists and hates foreign drug smugglers, right?

What would the relevance of this comment to YOUR argument? Again you make a large fail here, How many Indonesian Drug smugglers have YOU heard about being executed? Oh that is right, you still think this law only exists for FOREIGNERS, LOL

They are about to execute two of them any day now. And don't forget that young lad who was hung in Singapore or some other country...Van Nygen or whatever his name was.

Oh I see, you you were referring to her parents, family and all the doogooders who believe that taking drugs is just another pastime and, of course, the hairy fairy legal beagles.

Well,on that basis, I can readily see why you declare that 'Many people are in doubt as to her guilt'.

'She did the crime, she should do the time'.

Oh so you see it is not just a FOREIGNER LAW. you do see that they have the same law for all. So perhaps you could explain the relevance of you comment to the issue you claim as being such a conspiracy.

I wonder when you intend to get around to attempting to defend the other Aussie now facing Indonesian court for drug smuggling. he could be facing the death penalty and unlike you precious Corby, he has given the one story and stuck to it. A far more believable person from the start. NO I do not know of his guilt or innocents but I am sure you can tell me. Funny though he has not been subject to anywhere near the same media bias as CORBY

And didn't the city of Signapore execute a number of Vietnamee 'Australians' some years ago for carrying drugs? I can't remember the details.

Anyone tryingto push drugs in those countries must be aware of the potential consequences, or be short in the brain dept.

What person would march into Indonesia with a huge bag of pot, knowing it was bloody obvious? No one would do that, they'd try to keep it hidden.

Apart from being a drug pusher, she was also a dill. Just look at the family!

You can't make an assumption like that. Her family might be a bunch of bogans but it doesn't make her a law breaker.

    Quite correct.

Anyway, her racist and religionist sentence is an outrage.

New thread!! My responses to posts in the old thread:

Yet it was never proven she tried to smuggle drugs. She couldn't smuggle anything if she didn't know it was there, could she?

Yet her bag was never fingerprinted, so we have no way of knowing if she touched the bag. You cannot prove beyond a doubt that she placed the bag of marijuana inside the boogie board bag, this is just an assumption, and a baseless one at that.

It was proven to the extent the indo law needed. Case closed.

As has been discussed before, fingerprinting would have proven NOTHING. She could have used gloves when packing it and therefore wouldn't have left prints. Printing it would have been a waste of time. As would DNA testing the drugs because it would have only proven that the drugs were from aus.

A massive injustice, if I were SC's family, I'd bomb Kerbokan and get her outta there. What a pathetic bunch the Indo's are, shame really. So corrupt.
