Really. Just tell me what you know happened to Ukraine's nuclear weapons and I will be more than happy to research it.
The last time I told you what I thought about something you suggested an education and a You tube video. Just go ahead and research whatever you like.
Actually you didn't give me any specifics on what happened to Ukraine's nuclear weapons. You just told me my explanation was wrong and you wanted me to provide a source to back up my claim. Unlike you I don't need to be spoon fed resources when I disagree with someone's facts, I prefer to do the research myself. So give me specifics to research or this discussion is over.
Yes. They were all given up to Russia, every single one. The bookkeeping on this verifies the transport and receipt of all nuclear weapons that had once been located in Ukraine.
The collapse of the USSR brought some tough times and all their nukes had to be accounted for. There was a program to cull their arsenals and ours, warheads were shipped to central locations and the dismantling was witnessed by representatives of both sides. Those from Ukraine were destroyed in that program. I know one location was in Marshall Texas. My son and I went from Odessa to Marshall for a HS football game and there was a set of end zone bleachers set up for Russians from the inspection team. It was a festive atmosphere and I can remember how strange it felt entertaining Russians who we had shared hostility with for my whole life. We lost that friggin game but got revenge that year in the playoffs.
The Battle of The Three Emperors Or more commonly known as the Battle of Austerlitz, it is widely considered to be the most monumental victory Napoleon Bonaparte ever achieved. Emperor Napoleon, fought against Alexander I (Russian Empire), and Francis II (Holy Roman Empire). Napoleon annihilated his enemies in this battle, and it even destroyed the Holy Roman Empire completely, it dissolved soon after the battle. Napoleon led 65-75,000 troops to kill an army thousands larger. While marching he retreated, in order to trick them into thinking he had some sort of weakness. He even purposely weakened his already smaller army, to make himself appear to be an easy target. The allies fell for his trick, and launched a major assault. They were devastated by Napoleon, Austria surrendered, and Prussia ran away. A trick Putin is probably very familiar with and might be trying to draw NATO into the fight. Putin's entire military vastly outnumbers Ukraine and NATO combined. The question is why is Putin using outdated equipment and inexperienced soldiers? If Putin is trying to fain weakness to get the West over confident to draw them into the war he is doing just that judging by the comments here and on the news. Russia lost 30 million people during WW2 so they are accustomed to losing great numbers and still win the war.
