    Mornin People of the Strange Brews. [​IMG] Yep its Wednesday, some say stuck in the middle with you.

    We got thru that deep freeze and now we have snow. I jumped on it early but now its coming down at a steady pace. Driving conditions are not fun and I am glad I don't have to go out in it.....well not until late nite tonight. Hopefully they will get streets plowed and salted down.

    I used to work for a guy who was really witty.But his jokes were basically
    all short Henny Youngman style jokes.And he kept repeating them month after
    month.But that was who he was.I used to bring him the payroll to his office
    and work on it.He managed to force me to go and get coffee.At McDonalds.
    he called it ... SsshCoffee
    And every time he'd remind me to get a good size handful of sugar packets.
    He was a West Sider.From the West side of Cleveland.Like Parma.
    Basically a lot of Polish.He had a big mason jar in his desk and would collect
    sugar from the heisted sugar packets I snatched for him.I think he felt it was
    saving him Big time.He was a typical West Side cheapskate.
    His name was Bill. Bill Jedacek.I miss Bill.He was really cranky and garrulous
    but never boring.
    I gotta keep using that word ... SsshCoffee !!

    My first cup of coffee of any day, is whats known as SssshCoffee. Been that way for at least 20 years. Sometimes even when I go outside with my first cup of coffee. There is no sound, no birds, no cars, no dogs or cats, no people making noise, just the sound of silence.

    Oh, and not Simon and Garfunkels version either.

    i guess yankees are southern survivalists at heart. these yanks cleaned out all the grocery stores like savages, at least someone got rich from all this.

    it can't be that bad that they need a weeks worth of food? 2 days at most. i'm stuck with granola bars and donuts, no meat left. got to double up on my insulin this weekend. good luck all

    Serious Snow Blower. I grew-up in Cleveland.And we can expect snow every
    winter.A Neighbor buddy of mine's Father bought a Gravely Snow Blower.
    It was cherished by my buddy.He couldn't wait every winter to pull start that really
    heavy duty Gravely.I think of him every time I have to shovel snow.
    It was like a Religion to him.To start that Gravely once 3-4 or more inches of snow
    accumulated.Of course like many a Clevelander there were the snow chains to
    wrap around ones tires.Like I said it was kind of a Religion.Snows Out ... Yer Out.
    Battlin' it and cuss'n out.Y'know like a religion.
