Wait, wait, cooking is that alien to you? Looking at the prices restaurants are charging is alien to me. When going out becomes safe I will still be eating at home and cooking.

Rugby ... Then let me suggest The Best Ever Rugby Movie.
Starring a great actor { Richard Harris } who was an excellent rugby
player in College { run by the Jesuits }.
    The Movie ... - This Sporting Life - { 1963 }
where he was nominated for an Academy Award.
It's a nice B & W movie with real scenes of Bars and small
pubs in and around London.Nice gritty actions scenes of Rugby.
I believe he had a couple teeth knocked out.
I'd love a copy but most of that older stuff had long been out of print.
I'd like even more a copy of a Movie that for some weird reason has
    rarely ever been shown.
    - Wrestling Ernest Hemingway - { 1993 }.
With Harris and Robert Duval and Shirley MacLaine.

If I ever wrote a cookbook it would be to explain, first and
foremost all the benefits of doing ones own cooking.
Huge cost savings and also no wear and tear on a vehicle
for needless trips to the Grocery store or Fast Food.
I think it should be a duty for Batch { bachelor } to know how
to cook.Plus once a fellar gets the hang of it ... the dishes should
    get better ... Improve.
However I am talkin' Cookin' ... NOT Baking.
Baking requires much higher degrees of doing it right.
Keeping in mind most fellars { schlubs } feel their homemade
chili is to die for.Yeah ... Right.
    Seen that movie before.

History, like real life does tend to repeat itself.

    "Night attack
During the night, God instructed Gideon to approach the Midianite camp. There, Gideon overheard a Midianite man tell a friend of a dream in which "a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian" (Judges 7:13), causing their tent or camp to collapse. This was interpreted as meaning that God had given the Midianites over to Gideon. Gideon returned to the Israelite camp and gave each of his men a trumpet (shofar) and a clay jar with a torch hidden inside. Divided into three companies, Gideon and his 300 men marched on the enemy camp. He instructed them to blow the trumpet, give a battle cry and light torches, simulating an attack by a large force. As they did so, the Midianite army fled (Judges 7:17–22).

Gideon sent messengers ahead into Israel calling for the Ephraimites to pursue the retreating Midianites and two of their leaders, Oreb and Zeeb. Gideon and the three hundred pursued Zebah and Zalmunna, the two Midianite kings. When he had asked for provisions in his pursuit, the men of Succoth and Peniel refused and taunted Gideon. After capturing the two kings, Gideon punished the men of Succoth, and pulled down the tower of Peniel killing all the men there. Gideon invited his eldest son, Jether, to slay Zebah and Zalmunna, but being still young at the time, he did not have the confidence to carry out his father's request, so Zebah and Zalmunna called on Gideon to perform the deed himself. Gideon then killed Zebah and Zalmunna as justice for the death of his brothers (Judges 8:19–21)." Wiki

And still a good story even after all these years. ;-)

    Ugh, Rugby League.
There are two types of rugby.
Rugby Union and the wrong one.

Its not the age of a story that effects its quality, its the story itself. Predictable stories aren't much fun, same stories told with new characters is still the same story.
If someone told a story of the pale rider where he didn't win the gun battle, but convinced the bad guys to change their ways, that would be a twist that made it an interesting tale.

Incidentally, like so many stories in the old testament God doesn't seem to mind men killing men in revenge or for not helping. He's not very merciful. Luckily his son was a kinder soul.

I sure wish there was more rugby in America, I kinda like it more than what we transformed it into.

They are powerful and fast, voracious predators that school at times. I'll find out about taste soon. It's in my cooler on ice, gutted and decapitated. I will fillet it, bread it and pan fry it for dinner soon.

Yes, a bit more forgiving, depending on your interpretation of the various accounts.

Not so with what YouTube is offering today. They put of videos similar
to the ones a person just got thru watching.Or is a subscriber.
Today there is a Fantastic Documentary well over an hour
showcasing what I never realized ever happened. It was Considered
at the time .... The Storm of The Century -.
It dealt with the Blizzard of 1949.
Which dealt the Plains a severe blow but hit Wyoming especially hard.
    Unbelievably hard.From out of nowhere { I witnessed a Blizzard,first hand
this way back in the early 80's.}. This Blizzard from out of nowhere produced
very strange effects.Snow that was more like Salt it was so hard.Static Electricity
in the air so powerful a Farmer explained that the shotgun and rifles
he had lined up on his wall were sparking off for a few days.
Thunder and Lighting occurred as the storm developed. The Wind ceased
to end it's infernal Howling. For days.Snowdrifts greater than the heights of
    cars and even small houses.
This YouTube documentary was posted in 2017.

You could always go fishing and become a seafood cook. Of course with so damn many regulations, you gotta (legally) toss back 2/3rds of your catch....but if you are hungry and you find a secluded spot....
But them damn game wardens tend to cut no slack and will walk right up and help them self to a look in your ice chest.

They are sneaky, they will post up and watch you with binoculars and catch you leaving. But Florida has too much coastline and inlets to watch it all.
Dont get me wrong, I follow regulations but If I'm hungry, so be it. Fillet and release into a hot pan of grease!

That may be what happens whenever the ghost riders in the sky catch the thundering herd.

    I found another witness.

My brother got into quite a situation with the authorities. They were hovering over him in a helicopter and sent several cars to his dock. They went through everything on the boat looking for a violation. It took hours. They found nothing. He has no idea why he was singled out. He follows the law exactly. You have to in The Keys. Max crab, max lobster, size regulations, all of that.

It does flow better than American football, I like the game but all the breaks in play drive me up the wall. Too stop-start.
There is good news, rugby has been the fastest growing sport in the US for a number of years but the recent poor showing at the 2019 World Cup won't have helped. I was really hoping they could come away with at least one win from their group.

There are ways a skilled fisherman can tell the taste of a fish
but it's skeleton.Or how difficult it is to fillet.
Then again I doubt a Carp is difficult to fillet and they are
nasty tasting fish.I've seen people fish for Carp off a pier using
Marshmellows with great luck. They are a bottom feeder and that is why
    they get so bloated puffy.
The again Panfish are generally small and trim and good for the fryin' pan.
Lake Perch are great but an automatic scaler is a must.
