    I feel so bad for all of the Texans this summer. What a hot season it has been for you!

    I like Rick just fine. Should be an interesting race... my roomie HATES him. ;)

    We did get some rain on Saturday and it cooled things off for the day. LOL, I insisted on opening all the windows to air out the house and finally gave in and turned the a/c back on about 8 pm when it was 98 degrees and humid. Heck, won't hurt folks to sweat a little... after all, it is August!!

    They had bunches of rain in Min as well. I hope you didn't have it that bad.

    LOL about August. Had an interesting "discussion" with a workmate, about deep fried stuff at state fairs. She was appalled by it and kind of being mean about people at the Iowa State fair for wanting to eat deep fried butter, LOL. She had NEVER heard of such a thing, and I just told her her world was sooo small.

    I'm kind of interested in another Texas Governor running. ;-)

    Mary, tell her that people can eat whatever they please, esp at fairs. Its not like people eat this stuff 365 days/year.
    Just thinking about all that grease makes my stomach turn, but hey, no one makes me eat it, so I'm fine.
    My favorite fair treat, if I even go, is fresh squeezed lemonade.

    Well, it may have been back when we had our beach bar and someone looking like her went up on the thatch roof and started singing and dancing and then we heard a thud and you know next morning we found her behind the hut and we were worried and thought we shouldn't have a beach bar anymore or no more booze after midnight or pool boys to sing and dance with but MsM didn't like that and so we started the drinking and brownie bizniz back up agin and now I need a drink and some brownies.
