If anyone would bother to actually look before spouting off, they would see it is only links to individual threads being posted on Facebook.

 

There're links to Mafia Wars and Farmville there too... so what's your point?

By the way, there are several new features available, some you have to go to the Facebook page to get to.

Personally, I like technology, and it would appear that the owner of the forum is keeping up with current technology. Don't like it? Don;t use it. However, I see no need for you to imply I am blowing people because your reluctance to join in the modern age.

 

Have you been so propagandized that you think any change is a good thing? Change for change itself? Okay. How about this change. A change where this site is dependably accessible. DE.PEND. DABLY. THAT would be some change to HOPE for wouldn't iT?

I like posting here but i gotta tell you. With the amount of trouble this site experiences..offline, inaccessible, no rhyme or reason to it, I have to wonder how many posters its lost and how many its gonna lose.

 

So the site owner decided to create a Facebook page and diet even create a thread to discuss it or explain to us what he was planning on doing?

For 10 months the site doesn't work right, now we are jumping to Facebook with never getting any kind of explanation of what is wrong with the site or a heads up about moving to Facebook?

I mean, just a simple heads up of what is going on would be nice. Or is the site owner anti-social?

If we are moving to Facebook, I am moving on elsewhere.

I didn't sign up here with the idea that Facebook would be part of the contract to post here.

Site owners can do whatever they want. Especially if they are paying for the site. Seems like they'd listen to the desires of their posters though.

 

Absolutely. If not listen, at least fill us in on their plans. Even the mods seem clueless about where this forum's headed.

 

Yes, however posters could also not donate to the site if the owners are doing things that they don't like.

Like posting our info on FB for example.

The site is not moving to facebook. The site has a facebook fan page that links here. That is all.

 

Thanks for the response. As a donor, I'm relieved to hear moving to Facebook is not the promised upgrade.

Any idea about a timeline?
