That's what I understand. Some of my family wants me to go to Vegas w/them and I said "NO." I have no interest in that place - I don't like masses of people, heavy traffic, noise and chaos..... forget it.

I'll be saying "Yellowstone" to them the next time they mention vacation and my family loves nature as much as I do.......

The Commando monument at Spean Bridge. Pics can never do it justice, it's much more beautiful a prospect than can be captured:

I am very lucky that I live in a country that has got incredible beauty. Even tho we are a small country, we have everything, amazing deserts, sub-tropical areas, mountains, open plains, two great oceans, we are indeed blessed. Here are some pictures I have taken:

This is a panoramic shot taken near the town of iXopo (the X is a clicking sound, doubt you guys will be able to pronounce it) about an hour from the city where I live.

I know this is not purely nature, but the city where I grew up in, Cape Town is known for being one of the most beautiful cities in the world due to it's location, the next picture is also Cape Town

The above photo i took at my favourite hiking spot, in the Royal Natal Mountain Park in the Drakensberg mountains. That is the top of a very high waterfall and one of the best mountain pools I have ever swam in.

The last one is our national animal, the very gracious Springbok.

    I will post more later!

I do live in Sunny SA. I also had the great pleasure of living in Namibia for 2 years, another beautiful country. In my current city, Durban, I am at the sea, the nice and warm Indian Ocean. I am an hour from the fantastic Drakensberg mountains, an hour from the great Hluhlubi National park, I am just surrounded by nature!

There is no diping into any of the geysers as they are all boiling hot. Swimming is allowed in some of the lakes though
