Only reason you would like DEMS to not talk about “The Hell we the American lived in 2020” because it reminds American that we were not better off 4 years ago when Trump was president. I would say fasten your seatbelt, majority of the Biden AD will be “dead body in freezer truck and Trump saying coved will go away by Easter”

Police are paid very well to prevent crime. Billions of dollars in NYC. Yet they don't prevent crime.

New York has a no bail law that turns the same suspects loose over and over again. According to the news, the same criminal has been arrested 101 times. Another shoplifter, who had been arrested over 50 times, told a TV news reporter that “She is a professional booster.” So she admitted to being a criminal, but the woke legislators pass laws that let her steal again and again.

After running her mouth in public she finally was prosecuted. Don’t go after the police after they do their job, but have their good work negated by progressive policies.

 

Police, by and large, are not paid to prevent crime. They're paid to catch criminals who've already committed a crime.

Then democrat politicians make policies that allow criminals to rinse and repeat with little to no consequences.....and for some reason people like you support it.

They are paid to do both. They fail miserably at both.

If a store is repeatedly shoplifted and police aren't stationing themselves near that store, that is a police failure. Stores shouldn't be expected to pay exorbitant hourly rates for private security AND pay taxes to support police forces who don't do their jobs.

Police are not private security. They do not station themselves at specific stores. You are completely making up this bullshit. You literally have no argument here. AND police already patrol high crime areas more than others so in a sense they are already doing this. There are not enough of them to do what you're suggesting.

Reading is fundamental. I didn't say they were private security. I said that if a store is repeatedly shoplifted, they should be staking out that store. That's their JOB!

If a police precinct was repeatedly getting Molotov cocktails thrown at it you can bet your ass they would be staking out that police precinct.

And then the reverse you can also believe that something exists that doesn't and your belief doesn't magically make it exist

You also conveniently omitted the part where I repeated that I asked for facts and data....and you of course reply with a fictional made up scenario....a far cry from facts and data.

No he didn't. He allowed 40,000 people on direct flights from China to walk into the U.S. with zero quarantine.

 

My point is that when it's something the police care about they will stake out and protect. When it's some immigrant's little convenience store they aren't interested.
