ObamaCare is not fixable. The model is fatally flawed. The D's have failed to present a plan identifying the problems and how to fix them. Why, because the fixes involve bailing out the flawed mess again and again.

Do some homework on the single payer gov run health care systems in other countries. A national health insurance system is not the same as a national health care system which provides health care in a timely way to all citizens. Gov health care systems become huge bureaucracies which only do one thing well - grow. The spend less per person because they restrict access by delaying services and limiting equipment availability. The rich go elsewhere for timely care but the poor are stuck in the system.

Sanders is a socialist - socialized medicine is a disaster.

I was in the individual health insurance market for 10 years before Medicare. Fortunately I did not lose my policy which did not meet ObamaCare mandated coverage standards but was grandfathered in for some unknown reason. Many people were not so fortunate and had to pay much higher premiums. Our policies were high deductible policies combined with a health savings account. We had choices of coverages, deductibles, out of pocket maximums, and HSA compatibility. It was a true market unlike ObamaCare. There were identified problems which could have easily been fixed without completely gutting the individual insurance market and expanding Medicaid.

the goal with republicans was always tax cuts for the rich... they never intended to get Americans a better health care system

So then, demonstrate or suggest some book showing that single payer is superior. All the evidence shows that single payer is not superior but is only a way to create a gov bureaucracy with many employees who vote to grow the bureaucracy and to limit spending by limiting access and limiting investment in medical equipment.
